Hope everyone is okay. I'm suffering pretty bad in my body and head. Have a long day ahead. I've posted a picture of my latest painting. It is my biggest. about 30" x 30". Some parts I like and some parts drive me batty but this is an artistic process thing. I need to put it away and forgive my perceived shortcomings.
Anyways, update. My ex showed up last night to pick up mail and he was grumpy and I realized how much I've grown because I didnt' fizz when he was being a miserable argumentative jerk. then I kicked him out and still no emotion. No time for drama. Take your angst and keep it to yourself, nothing is going to take away my joy. BAM!!! Took a long time to get here.
Then my brother said that he applied for a place and I should be getting a call for reference in the next two days and he will be out by the 15th. COULD IT BE SO? Stay tuned.

Muskrat glad you feel the meds are starting to help. I hope tomorrow is an even greater improvement for you. Hugs.
Just babysitting. My friend from MI went home on tues. So no more girls nights or day shopping. It was a lot of fun while she was here. I am in the process of making my granddaughter a tutu and an octopus. Tutu out of tule and octopus out of yarn. Hoping to have at least one finished by tomorrow. I'm also crocheting an afghan for myself this time.
Son has been working on his truck for almost a month now. He just about has it together but he let another kid borrow his tires because he had a flat and the kid sold them! I figured as much when he started making excuses as to why he couldn't bring them back, so son had to go buy four new tires. Brakes have to be fixed and he will be able to drive it. I'm proud of him ....fixing this truck himself has been a good learning experience that he will be able to take with him and use the rest of his life.

kim, just babysitting is no small thing. i know that takes so much energy. nice news about your son gaining new skills.
i think i've been running on adrenalin too long b/c fatigue has overtaken me. i want to do things and just can't. i'm a little concerned b/c this isn't my new normal. still i'm just so pleased my dad is in a nice, caring place. i finished the reimbursement list for the old place today for all the missing belongings.
