Head is pounding and I have to head up a meeting with all these machinist and I totally forgot about it. I've done it dozens of times but I'd rather not have to do it today. Going to have to put off taking pain killers until it is over.

i got distracted today and forgot to post. there were shootings just a couple blocks from me last night.it's too cold for words here,,,i'm postponing going to pick up meds and other errands until tomorrow. penny and i are cuddling and trying to cope with this crazy weather.
i need to find a recipe for my random food items a. to eat and b. to heat up the apt.
still trying to regain energy from whatever bug, so wishing all can avoid that.

Every Wednesday our weather radio gives a report as test so you know it is working. Ours is turned low. All I could hear of the report was squirrels and garbage cans. It is quite windy. I mentioned this to older son when he called and he said high winds blow the squirrels out of the pine trees. Can you imagine. He has seen it,
Enigma hope you are medicated by now and migraine calmed. You face right up to those challenges. I enjoyed hearing about the sib dancing adventure . Not so much the neighbor of your sister's comment.
A rude comment even if true. It could be said of my sisters and I but we live 600 miles away from one another.Not the same for you. Family dynamics as we mature are strange. We may have same blood but that is where it ends. Our values, interests, life goals and choices differ. I see that among myself and my three sisters. We can be in harmony when we are together for a few days.

Chef extraordinaire you are. I am back to my chicken vegetable soup. I roast chicken breasts and then cheat with frozen soup vegetables. Wish you were my neighbor and I could share. That would make Tina my neighbor and I could share with her too. Take care of you and put everything else at the bottom of the list.

It is finally warming up here. Good and bad in manny way. Bad as we need the rain and it keeps hubby off the golf course. Good I can get addition going again, bad hubby thinks of golf!!!

Seren, where were the shootings? Too many of those these days! Wind is not fun. Last week our neighbors lost a tree. It fell on their roof. Hub had many fire calls of downed power lines.

it would be really fun to share food. i had that network in ny and really miss it. i found a good recipe, but i'm still getting over this bug and fell asleep. i've never made carrot potato soup, so i'll let you know.
wow, i've never heard of poor squirrels being blown out of trees, but the trees have been bending from the wind here. i can't feed them on the balcony any more, but i will put some food out in the park. this weather is so unusual for here.
it's the same for me and my sister. i try my best and i know she does, but we're like day and night.

hi janie, my good friend is trying to sell a golf show he's developed. that's all he thinks of. i don't understand it myself, but good luck with the addition.
the shootings were too close for comfort. there are some projects pretty close to the building where i live and it's been taken over by gangs b/c we're at a crossroad of two interstates heavy in the drug trade. this was known 20 years ago, but they didn't prepare. the first christmas i moved here i was planning to go to a nearby, inter racial church christmas eve, but didn't. there was a mass gang shooting there and it was forced to close b/c of gang activity. short story long.
enigma, i hope you made it through that meeting.
