Hello my sweets
Hope you are all well (or better than yesterday) and that your loved ones (and puppies) are doing well. Wednesday night I had a meeting and it looks like I snagged a couple of Grant writing jobs. One for Flamenco and Latin musical concert. Pretty cool stuff. Another a documentary about Gypsies in Canada. I start next week.
I decided to not go scuba diving this weekend and as I type this I want to erase this and make it not so. How hard it is for me not to be active and give in and not be 'normal', but all week I continue getting dizzy spells and I don't know if it is from holding my breath or ?? and, why am I holding my breath? I went for an ultrasound the other day and I couldn't tell if there were anything odd in the images. I just don't know and the worry is ever present until that damn specialist calls me. I'm grateful for the distractions to keep me busy.
I feel like I'm on this tight rope and any step I will fall off.
Faith.
Hugs to you all.

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

I could be barking up the wrong tree but you know when a person has a panic attack, its obvious their breathing changes as they start to pant rapidly, and they get light headed and dizzy because obviously they are not getting enough oxygen in, well ..even if a person is worried, anxious, or in a lot of pain, their breathing is affected, only not so obviously. It could explain the dizzy spells, but obviously it could be a million and one things, talk to your doc about it.
Work for me this morning, boring!
take care hens
Enigma I agree with Empathy, with all this worry and stress on your mind you may be having anxiety attacks, even mild ones could be making you dizzy especially if your holding your breath. Hang in there Hun. I would tell you to try not to worry but I know that's impossiable but maybe try some breathing exercises several times a day where you close your eyes and concentrate on slowing your breathing and relaxing every muscle in your body. Hugs.
Jacob has testing today and I am wondering if I should start another junk journal. I have so many. Everyone I say I am going to write in it but then just can't bring myself to do it. I love them and don't want to mess them up:)
Cleaning house today.
Jill and Dixie have barking matches. They stand in front of one another and bark. I would love to know what they are saying lol. Jill is still tormenting my cats by chasing them. They actually would not mind her if she would try to put her big paw on them.
Hope you all have a reason to smile today.
Hugs
All the best on Jacob's tests.
I would love the see the mayhem in your house with the animals, Dix.
Hugs to you both and all who come after.
Empathy one last boring day until work over for the week? Hope mum is still on the mend and you are getting the mild weather.
Dix love hearing about the antics of Jill. She certainly livens up the household. Sounds like she wants a critter to play with her. Your Dixie is a little old for that. Possibly the kitties will give her a good run or not. They may tell her what for.
Oh bother....my neck does have something wrong I fear from that one needle placement. I am still having the new pain in the front of my neck above where collarbone joins (dead center). It radiates from right side. Achy and burning. Very painful, especially in evenings. It has been over a week and I have called my neurosurgeon today. We were doing so well. I had hoped it was just sore but then I had never had any real pain from any session and this one placement almost sent me through the roof. Pretty sure it was not good location.
On a good note my awesome husband baked today. Apple Hill Bars and a Mississippi Apple Cake. Photo going up in our photo section.
Wishing all some joy in your day.
enigma, i don't know how you get ready for work every day, but power to you, hon. i read a book about a dutch boy who was welcomed into the gypsies. i'll have to look it up. i find that subject so interesting.
dixie, i'm sure it's not fun at the time, but i get a humorous mental picture of them standing there barking at each other. best of luck to jacob today.
hippy, so sorry about your neck. my pain gets worse in the evenings. maybe just the day of being horizontal. i hope the neuro can figure out what's going on. what a dear husband who's always baking. i don't know what either thing is, but both sound yummy!
just one of those days around here.
