Good morning my lovelies
So nice to see you posting muskrattiger, Hope that means you are doing better of late. Gentle Hugs.
Janie, I would love to go to a dog show just to watch the owners. Hug for you and your mom.
Oh Dix, you have such a big heart to take in a puppy. LOL, super hug just for that.
Super hugs to everyone who comes after.
Thanks everyone for well wishes for my Kidney problem. Means a lot to me to get such respectful compassion. All hell broke loose within my family but I survived it. My mother decided to have a "talk" with me on Saturday and took me to a restaurant and proceeded to say that life is hard and things could be worse as she had to bury her son....!!!! (my brother of course). So yeah, mom, gee thanks, its all about you, and you suffer more and I should suck this one up too, I feel better with what I have to deal with.....
Then I went home and my brother who just moved in and he started to talk down to me and kept telling me that the doctor got it wrong and it is a false positive. Asked me what my symptoms were and I told him that when I have all this migraine pain it is hard to just pick up on things but looking back, the symptom of waking all night because of nonstop twitching was something that I brought to the doctors attention a while ago, he reply was ' oh everyone gets that'. I lost it when he used the 'hyprochondriac' word on me and kept talking over my words and I told him that I wanted to smash him in the face. I've never said those words before to anyone but it was at the end of the day and I had suffered a miserable migraine all day. I just couldn't handle stupidity anymore.
I went dancing by myself Friday night to burn off the fear and turn off the brain. I've since been isolating myself because I just can't deal with people who have their own agendas of pumping up their egos or sorrows or ignorance on my stressful confusion. I'm glad I have you guys because you really get it. We have to deal with this one thought and challenge at a time and there is no manual.
Love to you all for being here for me.

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. What he didn't do like the...

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

i hope you had fun out dancing. i used to burn off steam dancing. a good workout and stress reliever!
don't we wish there was a manual!
just more of the same on my agenda today. switching some clothes over even though the weather won't settle on where we are. i'm in no hurry for ultra cold though. i keep catching penny napping on whatever clothes i leave unattended...she's so cute i can't get upset.
other than that i'll get in the kitchen to clean and mess it up again...i'll make a couple of things to last the week out.
wishing all a very good day!
Muskrat glad your feeling a little better, hope it continues for you sweetie.
Cleaning house today. Dh will be home tonight so don't know why I'm bothering but I will.
Getting really tired getting up at 3:00 to take the puppy out to potty. I can't go back to sleep. Dave sets his alarm to take her out at midnight. I can't have him getting up all through the night and go to school the next day. So I am up from about 2:00 on. My internal alarm clock wakes me about an hour before time to take her out:(
Wishing everyone a good day.
Hugs
Enig, my mum makes me feel similar, i could be having major surgery, but it would be all about how nervous her stomach is feeling. Sometimes i think its just her clumsy way of letting me know she's worried about me. What i want is for her to just really listen and take in what i'm saying, instead of turning it around to her and how she's feeling which is what your mum did.
I think your so brave to go dancing on your own! I like to go swimming on my own.
Seren, sounds like youve got enough to keep you busy for the day.
dix, having a puppy sounds a lot like having a baby to me ! lol
Storm hasnt been that bad where ive been, its just really windy. Ive cleaned up and moped the floor. Sons interview went well, fingers crossed! I put a pannier on my bike, i had a basket on the front but it unbalanced me when it had shopping in it, the weight tended to pull the handle bars from side to side, hoping that having shopping on the back will be sturdier.
work tomorrow, not looking to going back after having a week off.
emapthy, you make a good point to. i think mothers panic and don't express their concern in the best ways. just holding and listening would be so much better.
i hope your pretty, "new" bike works well for shopping. sending the best for good results from your son's interview. good luck with work!
You know i hope my mum hasn't passed that on to me, i hope when my son needs me to just listen and give him my all, i do that ,and not turn it around to me.
