I had a customer moan about me under her breath , but loud enough for me to hear.
I wish pple had a little more patience and human kindness!
Sometimes i can be a bit clueless when someone asks me for a pack of cigarettes, there's so many of them, i dont smoke and i probably serve about 6 hours of the 12 i work, so i dont know where exactly to lay my hands on them when someome asks. Normally i say Can you point to them, or, can you see them, lol sometimes its a case of "just left of where you have your hand" up a bit, right a bit.
All i'm asking for is a little human compassion, what is so wrong with that?

yes, i raced off today b/c they were an hour early to pick me up. mother is resting. she's had a snack and a pain pill. i have an easy dinner to make for us. i spoke to the admin at the nursing home for an hour and hope we got somewhere. he's calling back tomorrow with some more answers. i'm too tired to type up the notes right now.

dixie, hope those techs get you back up and running soon. miss you!

Angela sorry about the bad vibes....that is what I call them. When I have a headache I run and hide. I know you don' t have the luxury. My oldest son calls everyday on his drive home. I say headache day if it is so. Do it because I get to hear the traffic report and what kind of day he had. Every once in awhile we have really good focused conversations. He has ADHD so that would account for some of it. I avoid drive time when I have the headache and he understands. Hope all is sorted and you continue your Scuba. When I was employed I trained others in proper service and solving problems. All people skills and not letting the person take you to their level. More or less talk them off the ledge. I miss it in a way.

Empathy you really have it with the service industry. I loathe how people are at the market and especially the Walmart which I think is like your store, Talked to Dix this morning and box is fixed. Maybe she will be back tomorrow. She had running around today.

Serenity did mom have cataract surgery? Wasn't sure. My aunt had to have some laser surgery with glaucoma but no follow up next day so I am thinking cataract and mom will get patch off tomorrow. Then lots of different drops for some weeks. Steroid and antibiotic. Wishing the two of you a quiet and easy day and night.

Physical therapy over and I went to a thrift store. I found a little wooden box and a painting on canvas. I am more interested in the frame. The woodworking is well done and when artwork is upside down it makes a very nice tray. I will think on this. Baking first apple cake of the season and hubby is meeting aunt and uncle on Saturday for a bushel of apples from their trees as well for all the canned goodies and some venison for older son. This dry needling is working I believe. It is a type of myofascial release. Different than acupuncture. Not at all painful, nor am I sore after treatment. Still getting manual traction as well.

hi ...just stoped in to say hi been working most of the day putting in the new house door ...of corse it all came in piceses ....had to cut ..to fit ...and wedge ...tired out now ...I hope you all have a great weekend ...tomorow we go get the storm door I hope it fits .....take care ...God bless

Muskrattiger so good to hear from you. We do love our fresh apple cakes. With the apples my husband picks up from my aunt I may make a pie or two. Glad you dropped in even though you have been busy. I ended up using the art as art. The frame was made to make it stand out but on the back side it is very deep. Easily could be a nice tray. I have not seen one this way either, it was quite cheap at the thrift store. I will try to post pics of it each way.

Tomorrow night is overnight sleep in with 10 year old granddaughter. She texted and asked if she could stay tonight. Love that little girl. Can't wait to see her.

hippy, yes, it was cataract surgery and she's doing pretty well.hippy, that's such a great idea for a tray, but whichever way it works. i often do that with finds - think one thing and do another. glad you had good finds. enjoy that apple cake.yummy! enjoy the GD sleepover!
