Morning lovely buddies
I'm near comatose this Saturday evening. Day 10 of a migraine and today I slept all day except for 2 hours. I went to the pub but as much as they made me laugh, I could only sit an hour. These people are all 72 years old to 90 and I'm the one that is so exhausted.
I'm supposed to go kayaking with my sister this sunday morning and the fresh air and excersize will do me good physically, but I'll cry if I wake up and I still hurt. Right now I'm on 3 T-3 and 2 Oxy's and it still hurts so friggen bad. Even my legs hurt.
On the upside, I'm working with this friend, Andrew, on a movie script and it involves a $60K grant in the end, so that is pretty exciting. I'm in charge of getting the Grant. It's all coming together and I've never worked on a movie so this is awesome. He also said he would stop trying to 'pick me up' last night and I said I apprecited that because I needed him to be a friend and being lovers would mess things up. He's such a great guy. I may be making a mistake but, ...no, we will short circuit each other..... Anyways, I just broke up with Peter 3 weeks ago and that was a total mind melt with what I realized I was doing to myself.
My son finally got a job! All mothers rejoice!!! And then his girlfriend broke up with him the next day (coincidentially) he's okay and he is talking about it. As the day goes on, he is starting to feel releif about being apart because they had problems and now he is realizing he no longer has those problems anymore.
Listen to me rattle on.... A handful of drugs will do that. Love you guys. You sweeties are my best kept secret. My secret fraternity of lovely women who know what it is to surrender each day.
Andrew and I was brainstorming ideas yesterday and when he was stuck on an idea I didn't agree with, I used my own experience to demonstrate something to him and I explained what chronic pain was and he (being intelligent) was fascinated. He argued that life has to have meaning and people want to have something solid to show for for their existance. I told him that wasn't true. I told him that when you have chronic pain, your life is different because you have to surrender everytime, and that meant every day and sometimes every moment. Because the pain is so bad that you get suicidal and you feel there is no point to life. Flowers don't matter, family can do on their own, and your own existance is so miserable that what's the point. So every single time, a chronic person has to surrender to the pain, the drugs and expense she has to take inside of her, the stigma she has to endure, the lack of information on a cure/reason, the lack of opportunity, and lastly, how long this bout will last until the next. There is no reason or constructive purpose for it. Just surrender and accept, every day, while other bitch and bemoan things as stupid as traffic.
This baffled him because he thought he knew why people moved through life and I was moving through life without his motivation. I am living moment by moment as many of us are. I think people kill themselves partly for depression, and partly for fear. When I remove the fear, I can stop myself. Fear that it is hopeless. Fear that it won't stop. Just last year, Andrew's 15 year old son tried to kill himself so he is grappling with this issue also
Our suffering aside, I think this makes us very unique beings in this world. We are extremely compassionate from the core of our soul from what we are experiencing and that makes us Angels on this earth. Angels aren't really seen, but we tend to show up when we are needed. We ripple love and kindness and that flows outward to help others. When we think love, we act on love and every act has an impact somewhere, somehow. Energy is not wasted and it flows like a wave and grows in intensity. Would any of us walk by if we see someone suffering? We would shelf our own pain and assist. Just look at what you guys do here so many times in this forum and how you so selflessly pay it forward. My heart bursts in the love and kindness that you guys give out so generously and without expectation of return.

Angela exciting project, hopes up the headache eased for an outdoor adventure with sister.
Kim stay tucked in til this passes and I hope it is soon. Ready to put my tuff guy boots on and kick that pain to the curb for you. It is time for it to hit the road.
Serenity I like the AVI. Is this a pic of you? Looks like crab legs and lots of them. Hope you are having a restful Sunday.
We have trees for neighbors but about a half of mile down the road a house sits well off the road. It is a rental since the owner died. A month ago the state DEA was there as my husband saw them pulling in as he was coming home. Well last night about 11PM our house was reverberating from the bass of a band going full on. I didn't get to bed until 2AM. Music stopped around 1AM but it took me another hour to settle. That property abuts the 40 or so acres of woods across from us owned by someone else. For some reason I couldn't feel safe last night.
Hugs to all
that avi is me a few years back on my b'day with king crab legs. couldn't believe how big they were.
