Morning hens
A big hug to all of you!!!! It's 1:15 am and I just can't sleep. Applying for jobs.
Sending a special hug to those who are hurting, physically or mentally. I was doing some reading on fear and the best way through it is to acknowlege and to face it directly. Easier said than done. So say it out loud, risk the vulnerability and see if you can remove some of the edge by bringing it out of the darkness inside of you. I let my son know of what I was afraid of for him with school and drugs this year. He let me know that he feared that there would be no money for his mechanic courses. By doing this, he let me know that he was not so vulnerable to following blindly and I let him know that I had money set aside just for his advanced education and that his college was a very high priority to me.
I learned that if something is worrying me, speak up and shine light on it.
Now if only I can convince myself to go to bed.....Oigh!
Cherry, are you sleeping better since your surgery and stopping your business?!
Hippy, you are always late in the day to post and we never get time to respond to you. So glad you don't have to do surgery.
Does anyone know where Empathy is? She was such an avid poster that it seems odd that there is nothing for over a month.
What is everyone up to today? Hope you all take time to share.

Wow...to be between jobs...and still be able to reassure your son that you're prepared to finance his education still........pretty impressive.

I miss Empathy. I keep thinking of her and wonder if the job is keeping her busy. I know we all have our times of quiet. It has been longer than a month it seems.
It is raining today. Cooler and our burn ban has been lifted. My wee Yorkie will not do his potty in the rain. I will buy him a rain coat. My husband took him out and he looked like a drowned rat. Poor guy. The King Charles and Labs are hunting breeds and don't mind the water. Still I am shaking my head.....have gone from no dogs to four dogs in two years. They are all rescues though so saving lives. My guy is saving my life.
Kim thinking of you today. I know you have lots to sort. Wishing the very best in the outcome. It is hard to wait isn't it chickadee?

My husband and I went to a concert last night which was very enjoyable but I suffered all morning but doing a bit better this afternoon.
Today is a resting day for me... sure need it!
Going out for dinner tonight with friends so I dont even have to cook :)
As we get ready for the weekend I send best wishes to all of you that you can keep your pain manageable!!

Stress has me in a flare I think.
Just learned today that this dr. My husband is seeing mis-diagnosed a friend of ours two different times. He claimed she had cancer and she didn't. How I pray he has misdiagnosed my dh as well. Even though he says he is sure it is cancer. We will not have an official diagnoses (biopsy results) until Mon.
I went to a couple of estate sales today and a couple of yard sales.....no lucky treasures.
Then went with my mom to do some shopping at Walmart and the pain hit there....didn't't think I was going to make it home it was so bad.
Mom, bless her heart, is bringing over soup for supper. My neighbor just stopped by with home made chocolate chip cookies! Yummy! They are still warm from the oven:) so sweet of her. I have really good neighbors.
I have To tell you a story: We had the cops called on us. Someone reported that are calvess were separated from the herd, and were starving. Too funny. Actually I can see where they thought the calves were starving. They are newborns and jerseys at that and they are just skinny calves. Never having a momma to feed them will make them skinnier than normal.....plus we can't get one of them to eat good. So yes they do look like we are starving them but of course they r not. They have a constant supply of food and water and get bottle fed twice a day. But the abuse of being separated from the heard was so funny and just shows that whoever reported it knows nothing about calves. No buggy....officer said he figured that's the way it would be but he had to follow up on the report. We thought it was funny.
Raining here now. Good time to try to catch a nap...listening to the rain.

i pray that this dr is wrong. i'm sure waiting for the test and results will make for a long weekend. i hope you both can get some peace.
