How is the flock this morning?
Sunday is my favorite day since I don't have to concern myself with a schedule. I got off my med schedule by about 2 hours because after getting up several times in the night, I slept until 6:00 the last ime. Yikes...ouch...I usually take my first round by 4:00! I'll get on track...gotta color and set Mom' hair so I'll have to!
Hmmm...did I say I liked Sundays? I did Mom's hair on Sunday last week, too. Ah well...she is my Mom.
What are your plans?
Hugs and clucks...

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

I'm in a tidying and sorting mood, so thats what ive been up to. You know when you open a cupboard and you think "jeeze, what a mess!" Yesterday i threw out some clothes and today ive gone through cd's and dvd's. Next its boxes under the bed.

i did get a nap in this morning. i heard a bunch of cheering down by the river around 6 and checked online. there's a marathon here today. good for them!
my mother mentioned going to a market here, but last time we went they charged $7 to go in to spend money and eat overpriced food. warped. i miss street fairs!
i have my ingredients out. phase one. i'm going to do the onions in my baby processor b/c i have to cut corn off the cob. i already roasted the root veggies. this will be an all day project. it will be so nice to smell it come together. eek, i can feel my shoulder kicking in, but it's going to happen today...cooking. eat, pray, love is on, so that's inspiring me. she's off to india!!
good day, chickadees
Did two different actually. Cooked too much maccorni. One for the adults that has the fancy cheese and one for the kiddos that has simple cheese. Not healthy but something my man children like as we'll as children.
Cherry I bet you enjoy the time with your mom. I miss mine. Lucky to have yours close. Hope your day picks up with less pain.
Empathy I think I have said before I love sorting. I try to do a room or a drawer as often as I can. I used to spend a day at this sort of thing. Now little at a time. I am OCD and everything has to have a place.
It is easier to to trim it down to do this.
Wishing all a day of rest and less pain.
I worked from 10:00 until 1:00...on my feet with no break. But Mom's hair is colored and styled and my Sister's hair is colored and cut....Whew! Holy crap. I need a break, but I'm glad to have been able to do something for them. It's the other way around most of the time.
Fixing myself something decent to eat seems like way too much work. Coffee and candy corn will do for now.
