Yesterday. Drove 1.5 hours to the nearest big city and walked through stores and had lunch with one of my DS Non smoking buddies and my bestest Ridgecrest friend and then drove home. It was a great day!!!

That sounds awesome Elsie I love doing things like that. I had one of those days yesterday and again today just loved it. The weather is pretty now so it's perfect for strolling and browsing and having a good lunch.

I did have a very enjoyable day last Friday! I took myself out to breakfast at the neighborhood cafe in the next town over. It has a funky living room type feel with brightly colored walls and fun paintings. I had decaf coffee with my corned beef hash and eggs which was a treat since I've stopped drinking coffee at home.

I bought the Friday newspaper to read while I ate. It has the weekly entertainment section with everything going on in the area. I can't attend most of the events but it helps me feel like I'm part of the community to at least know about what's going on.

Then I drove around the neighborhoods with my camera and photographed some of the lovely blooming trees. I enjoy uploading my nature photos here on DS and on Facebook. I think the huge pink magnolia tree was my favorite. It was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon and it's nice that I can share the photos of the spring blossoms with my friends to enjoy too!

I treat myself to lunch, shopping, and just lady stuff at least once a month. Can be uplifting!

The more i think about this...I sell Avon. Being able to get out of the house and shop with others has lifted my spirits often!

Hmm...relaxation, what's that?!? : )

But, as for enjoyment, every day is an enjoyment day with my hubby! My favorite moments are when we can slow down and play a game of 500 Rummy or catch an episode of our favorite TV shows online.
