My neighbor brought fresh trout & morels over this evening! Oh yummy. Also a dozen fresh eggs. My summer plans consists of enjoying every day, and preparing for next winter LOL
Trissa, how you liking your new place? Mushrooms. Tis the season. We are in prime strawberry season, and may take Luke this week to go a picking. Mmmmm, as he would say. :D
I am very happy. Loving the quiet, the woods, starry sky. Its been the best as far as family, closer to all & really close to many. Winter was down right wicked. I vow to be better prepared for the next one. Strawberry festivals ummm good!
U like mushrooms all? Where I live, there's an old salt mine that was converted to grow mushrooms and the majority of the mine except the operation center is totally dark so the mushrooms grow better and they certainly taste great!
I couldn't agree with you more about this past winter! It was a rough one in these hills in Western PA also! The Allegheny river was frozen for too long and caused a lot of flooding downstream.
Now we got to put up with this pollen tsunami over in these parts of the woods so if it's not one thing then it's another! First year in a very long time to have allergy shots. Good to see you posting again Neut!

I usually don't do well after end of day light savings, but I am fighting the seasonal depression this year.
I'd like to limit my handicap to three months only!!!
What's "hen of the woods?" Yeah, the weather here has been crazy for December. This Sunday they're forecasting 67 to 70 degrees F which is unheard of for western PA this time of the year. Hopefully your SAD will only a short, temporary episode which is what I also hope for myself too. Talk to you soon Trissa01. *<{(:>)~
