If anyone would like to set up video calls, let me know. Then we can get some face time. If you have a web-cam on your computer, you can download Skype for free and you are good to go. You can connect using your e-mail address. If your computer does not have a web-cam, you can purchase them. They are not expensive. I have a Microsoft Life-Cam and as I recall, it was around $20. Some are even cheaper now. Now, if I can just get Charlottemaria to set one up!

I can talk for ages face to face (try to shut me up lol) but put a webcam in my face and I come over all dumbstruck. Actually DH probably wishes he had a webcam to aim at me sometimes lol. I will think.about skype though.

If you download Skype, you'll have an account. Then I can do a search, or you can search for me, and we'll find each other. Then it's video call time!

Charlotte: Agree with you on the Skype ....I never feel comfortable using it . Tell you what Charlotte....if you will, I will!!! We'll have a practice run together before we go 'live'.....that way we can both be dumbstruck together Lol.

Weeeell Pippa, let's you and I try it out first. We used to have it but got rid of it because we kept getting random messages from strangers making rude propositions. Maybe privacy settings would fix that?????

Another thing about Skype. If you sign up, even if we don't do video calls, we can still chat, which is something we can't do here anymore.

I mainly use Skype without camera, you can turn it off easily, and it make sense in our part of the world where internet plans usually do not have unlimited data. And as I have long conversations with friends overseas, having them with camera increases data traffic substantially.
