:) YOu got that right - very little to keep me tied here except for two pups.....but I have a dear friend who they will learn to love - so it won't be a problem.
Congratulations ! I understand the mixed feelings... Just remember that all things bad are behind you and all things good are ahead of you! Run with it !
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so very happy for you. Most of the time it is best not to burn bridges but in this case, ti is best. That leaves you today and tomorrow to look forward to, not backwards at once was.
Eyes on the road in front of you LJ. The scenery is good.
LJ ~ I am so happy for you. I'm putting my mom's house up for sale on April 1st (already have a realtor). I hope her house can sell quickly cuz it has been a big stressor for me.
Anywho....I'm lookin forward to meeting you and all the other great folks at papa and mama's memorial meeting.
We are on to bigger and better things in life. Nix to our EO......life will go on and it's gonna be better than before. My kids do not define me. I was a loveable sweet person before they ever came into the picture. I too hardly ever think of my EO and it is so freeing.
I'm bringing some champagne to the meetup.....we definately have to celebrate :)
Someone mention OFFROADING!!! Life begins where the road ends! Snail...Wear your seat belt! LOLOLOLOL!
I'm making Beer-rita's and Buffalo Bleu Cheese Dip! I'll also get DD, the culinary student, to make us a Chocolate Day Cake...yum! LJ, We can celebrate.... anything and everything!
This is great news to read of, LJ! I remember how brave you were through all of the packing/ moving business, and now that you don't have to worry about the "old" place anymore, you are truly free!
I wish you nothing but happiness and fun in the new digs!
Cheerz!
PS- AMx2...what is a "beer-ita"? i've never heard of 'em. Assuming that it's some kind of margarita concept, but with beer? I just can't wrap my mind around it....& LOLin' at the "wear your seatbelt" ;)
Beer-rita is just what it sounds like, make it by the pitcher, 2 cans beer, 1/4 cup triple sec, aprox 1/3 lg bottle of maragrita mix and sprite, stir and pour over ice in salted glass with lime garnish......wonderfully refreshing! I use lite beer and lite margarita mix. Low calorie and low alchohol content per drink! Enjoy!
Remember that we are going to go flying over sand dunes in your wonderful black jeep one day. D.
We get to leave all of the nonsense behind.
I hardly ever even think about my son anymore - wow - just wow.
Eyes on the road in front of you LJ. The scenery is good.
Love you
HS
