i wish all your wishes too. the south is very humid and i know that's an adjustment for you. i'm sorry your hands are in such pain. you seem to have plenty of discipline to me. the humidity seems to slow us all down. hope you enjoy yourself and give yourself a break today. have a beautiful day!
Good morning so sorry you had problems and hope today goes well. I like Amazon and use it often. I bought nonperishBle groceries thru them once. I cannot remember what it was called but you kept buying until you filled a box a certain weight.
Me and my phone typing grrr.
I got my four to five hour sleep which is normal.
We are going out of town to the mountains a couple days if I can get the old husband motivated lol
Grammagus, I, too, wish your hands didn't hurt so much. Please don't feel guilty for something out of your control. Remember, we're not "human doings" but human beings. I hope the pain lets up soon. I get you on the humidity. It was 73 degrees here the other day but it felt like 90 because of the darned humidity.
Serenity, I hope you have a great day, filled with peace.
MAGIC, I also buy most stuff on Amazon. They have almost anything you need and I think their customer service is awesome. 4 or 5 hours sleep doesn't sound like much but I guess if your sleep is normally broken up, it's a long stretch! Good luck on motivating your husband to get a move on, lol!
I woke up at 4:20. What an ungodly hour! I need to go to the store today for us and the kitties. I reckon I'll catch a nap somewhere today. I'm still debating whether or not I'll watch "50 Shades of Grey". It's on ON DEMAND. I read all 3 books in the series. It would appear that in this case, the movie doesn't measure up to the book. Movies seldom do. We'll see.
I hope everyone has a good day with joyous moments.
Hugs,
Dianna
Grammagus... Humidity is miserable!! Hope your pain eases up
Serenity...hope all is well and you have a great day!
Magic...I love Amazon.. Probably too much!!
Dianna...yikes..that's early!! I think you deserve a nice long nap!!
As for me.. Hanging in there. Feels like this week is dragging. Tomorrow is my 21st anniversary!! I remember last year being so afraid about my husband, so unsure of the future. I thank God everyday for getting us to this point and being able to celebrate another anniversary with him!
Have a great day everyone
xoxoxoxo
Autumn
Just a quick drop in with hugs.
( I'm trying to keep my negativity to myself..
Haha.. I make a journal entry almost every day now.. then delete it..
My way of not spreading the " Blues".
:-)
Wishing everyone feel betters, as always.
Hugs
Grammagus, I'm sorry your hands are hurting so. I don't do humidity period lol! I'm sure it's not helping your hands. Please be kind to yourself, you'll get the toys finished, but please don't push to hard especially with your hands in so much pain. I hope it will be cooler there today with a lot less humidity. Enjoy your day.
Serenity, I hope you slept well. I didn't see the other post so I don't know what you wrote. I hope they get that damn inspection done today eerr. I hope you have a relaxing day with low pain/stress.
Magic, I also really like Amazon I've used them for almost all my gift buying for the last year. I'm glad you were able to get some sleep. Enjoy your trip to the mountains.
Diana, 4:20 uuuggh, I hope you get a long nap in today. Please pace yourself when out and about. I read 50 shades of gray, but haven't read the two other books. I agree that the movie usually isn't as good as the book. Should you decide to rent it I hope you enjoy it.
I could really use some extra prayers please. For the past couple of weeks both legs from the knee down have been really swollen which isn't all that uncommon for me, however last week my bad leg (the left one) started weeping like a siv. I wasn't overly concerned as my legs weren't red though they were painful to the touch as it feels like all my nerves come to the surface & I wasn't running a temp.
That all changed yesterday around 12:30. Out of the blue I started shaking really bad and I knew instantly I had a temp. My temp was 102.4/102.1. I called hubby and bless his heart he called my pcp for me as my teeth were chattering to bad to even attempt talking. Thank heavens my pcp called in my Clindomyacin. Both legs are fire engine red and really hot, gotta love cellulitis...not! My pcp said if I'm still running a high temp and legs aren't improving by tomorrow, Sat. at the latest, he said to go to the hospital so I can have my IV vancomycin. I have my pm appt today. The last thing in the world I want to do is have to go out, but this is one of those Appts that you just don't miss. So far this morning with tylenol I've been able to get my temp down to 101.8. I truly hate this infection!
I hope you all will be kind to yourself today and everyones pain/stress stays low
Love & Hugs
Lisa
JC, it's so good to see you this morning, however I may have to get out the wet noodles to give you a tap. Darlin your not spreading negativity, nor would you be spreading the Blues by not deleting your journal entries. I know you are going through so much. Just please remember your not alone and we're all here to lift you up and get you through the tough times. I hope you'll take it easy today. Also hoping your pain diminishes dramatically. Sending gentle ((Hugs))
Love & God bless
Lisa
Grammagus- I am sorry about all of the humidity, we get lots of that in Florida. If you find the motivation button on these older "body" models, please share. It is so hard to stay motivated. LOL
Serenity- wishing you a peaceful, low pain day.
Autumn- I know it has been a hard journey, but you two have been troupers fighting through lots of challenges. Happy Anniversary! So glad you both can enjoy it this year. May you have many more wonderful anniversaries.
JC- good to see you, hope it is a good day for you. Have you thought of keeping your entries and save them as Private? That way you can look back and see if you have found the positive counter-balance for the negative thoughts. Hope you have a positive day :)
Lisa- I am so sorry that your legs are causing so much trouble. I am glad you are seeing the doctor today. I know it is not something to let get out of control. Will be praying for quick improvement. Sending lots of positive energy and prayers,
Myself, I have been so overwhelmed, I really would like some down time. The PT is triggering major vertigo, headaches, and causing my balance to be more off. Then, as Murphy's Law would have it, my house keeps flooding. Have had 2 pipes break in the wall at different times of course. Had to re-pipe through the attic. The second plumber made so many mistakes. First when they turned the water back on they had not capped of the orginal water lines correctly so both bathroom cabinets flooded. I have everything from these bathrooms and linen closet pulled out until the areas are dry and there are no more leaks. Then they did not hook the drain line back from my washer to the outside drain. My son put in a load of laundry and it flooded the laundry room, went through the wall into the office and porch. I showed him how to fix the drain. Next day I had water in my laundry room again. Three of the areas that they had re-piped were now leaking. Had them come back out and fix the leaks. My washer was being shoved back and forth so they could get behind it. So now of course my washer is broken. Now all of the items from my laundry room are set out until we know it is not leaking. Gee, I am having fun, not!
All the stress, has not helped my pain level at all. Trying to function has been a challenge. My blood pressure keeps dropping and I have been either blacking out or passing out. They follow me around at PT with a blood pressure cup, checking to see if my pressure is high enough to do the next exercise. So not having fun :( But I am still here kicking up trouble. I need Chocolates!!!!!!
Wishing all a low pain day with many positive moments.
Hugs-RJ
Serenty , I hope you have a great day honey. Hopefully the inspection takes place soon.
Magic Pill, 4-5 hours of sleep is great for me. I get a lot of things from Amazon as well, but have never tried non-perishables. I'll have to look into that. Hope you enjoy your day.
Dianna, up at 4 A.M., that's way too early. I think we were just getting to sleep about then. I hope you can get a nap in later.
Autumn, Happy Anniversary! I'm so happy that you have him to share your life God is good and brought him through the other side. Hopefully, you two can celebrate like you deserve.
Rj, Here are some Dark Chocolate Turtles. That should take care of your chocolate craving. I wish I could fix your leaks for you! How frustrating that is. I'm sorry you're still having issues with your pressure. Praying the Vertigo and balance issues resolve quickly. You've been suffering way too long.
Scott slept in a little this morning. He didn't sleep well last night at all. He painted yesterday for 11 hours and his shoulders were hurting pretty bad. He has a torn tender which is hurting him pretty bad. Thankfully, he has an easy day. It's beautiful and sunny, about 65º so I may sit out in the yard wnd relax for a while before goung to the gym. I'm down 22 pounds, 12.5 on my BMI and 18 inches all over so finally the weight is going. Just a few more, and I'll be at my goal weight.
I pray everyone has a great day with low pain and stress.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo

I read all posts and now waiting for Isidro. Maybe I should just adopt him as it has now been 3 weeks of everyday 9 AM to 7 PM. I even make him dinner to take home to the family.....just overwhelmed at the moment. We are trying to go to the coast on Friday but hard to work around the work.
At least the pot roast and cookies are done and have the cake and arroz con pollo to make in order to be ready for the coast.
Leaving in a few to take the car in for it's 10K check-up and Mom picking me up for brunch.
Low pain for all........
Love, Hugs and Low Pain,
Joanne
Well I treated my wife to a Detroit Tigers game last night. She loves to go and I have been so sick lately. We havent been in 3 years I bet. It is difficult for me to park the car, walk to the stadium, get to the seats, walk up the stairs.etc Uggh not easy. But we had a ton of fun. Tigers won in 10 innings and we moved down to the 3rd row after 8 innings as people left. Will post pics soon.
Lisa and I are PM buddies today. I have my PM appt at 2pm. The boss actually let me take the rest of the afternoon off. What a shocker! She usually makes me come back for the rest of the day. It is just my 3 month PM appt so should be routine but your never know. Every PA is different.
Hope all have a quiet low pain day!
Martini

Grammagus sorry the humidity is bringing on more pain. I live in a very humid area also so know the feeling. When you move I'd recommend getting with your new doc about a med adjustment.
Serenity isn't your appt today? hope all goes well. Forget that darn inspection! You know what? I haven't heard a word about cooking from you in awhile..........I'm in shock! tee hee
Magic the mountains sound awesome......it's been way too long since I've been to any of them. Hope you set a firecracker under hubby er behind and get to go :)
Dianna that is early for you.......hope it wasn't because you were hurting. Sorry you have to go to the store, I know it ups your pain. Go for the movie.....you'll need the distraction!
Autumn Happy Anniversary to you and Hubby! You both have so many things as a couple to celebrate, it's those challenges and survival that shows the team you really are!
JC always good to see you! How would writing in your own journal be spreading the blues? I wish you could see the benefits of talking in here too, it really helps all of us in so many ways. Always here for you my friend.
Lisa darn it I hate this for you :(. Talk about bad timing! Course when is there ever a good time? I'm just glad you have a consist doc for this. Go to your appt and get back in bed.....hopes and prayers you don't have to go to the hospital.
Oh my gosh RJ! I am so sorry for all the plumbing troubles.......what a nightmare! That plumber needs to compensate you for his screw up......hire someone with more experience. Check the hose to your washing machine also. Is a pound of chocolate enough?
ME I hope Scott gets to feeling better. Yay on the weight loss and BMI! Nice to know your hard work is paying off.......bet you're feeling pretty darn good about it :)
Moonie rest up for your trip and take it as easy as possible today. I can't believe it's been 3 weeks of bathroom work!
What a busy night post we had. I should have came back on, but I was tuckered out. Good to see so many, but wish everyone was feeling better.
I'm thinking of not filling that missing med at all. I talked to my epilepsy doc last visit about reducing down this one med and he was willing, but I chickened out at the last minute. He did up my other kind, so think I'll just go for it. It drags me down so much.
Going to mom and dad's for a bit today. Late mothers day and my dad's birthday today. Have my eye exam today........I think have to check.......my email says yes.........my appt card says Friday.
Much love and Hugs,
Toni
Minnie to cool on your garden. A couple of my rose bushes were started in jars, they're small, but strong! I'm really curious to hear how your plants go throughout the season, keep us informed!
