how exciting that you got your cards. what a brilliant idea to add one of your butterflies! good marketing! i hope you get the commission on the cushions.
how nice that your granddaughter will do that for you. is the whole house hunt on hold for now?
i'm going shopping with mother today. we're supposed to hit 5 places, but what are the chances of that? we'll do the top two priorities and assess after that. i hope we can sit and eat at some point.
penny's draped over my legs for her morning rub down.
wishing ME good luck with the skin cancer removals. safe trip also.
hugs and happy day wishes to all!
Grammagus... Yes those are good wishes!! Good luck at your apt!!
Serenity...ohh how I miss shopping with my mom. But 5 places is a lot!! Take it easy!!!
ME...prayers for you today!!
As for me... I know once I see Maddy on stage I'll be so happy and this craziness will all be worth it, but right now it is so stressful and exhausting. There are so many differences between this studio and her last one. Just when I think we have everything, there is another thing we need. She has really long thick hair, and even after getting it cut, I'm still having a hard time getting it in a bun. So now she says the way we do it isn't how they want it done on Saturday...so I'm going crazy trying to find this silly hair bun accessory that is for her type of hair. I went to 4 stores yesterday and called several others. Finally gave up and found something similar online...but imagine how much I had to pay to ship it here by Saturday. Ughhh
After this first competition it will be much easier. It better be because she has another one next weekend!!!
So headache and back pain is here in full force! Going to bring Maddy to school then go back to bed!!!
Have a great day!!
xoxoxoxo
Autumn
Grammagus, wonderful wishes indeed! I hope your Dr appt goes well. Fantastic your Grandaughter will be able to make your business cards. I hope you get your commission for the cushions. Fabulous idea attaching your business cards to a butterfly, maybe you could post a pic of what they look like. I hope you have a relaxing low pain day.
Serenity, have a wonderful time out shopping with your mom. Take your time, enjoy and I hope you have a nice lunch together.
Autumn, you make me tired just reading all you have going on lol! I can sure understand your nerves, but I have no doubt Maddy will do fantastic. I'm sorry your headache is back and your back pain is up. I hope as the day moves along both will get better.
I spoke with my spine drs nurse yesterday, all she wanted to tell me was he's on vacation all week uuugh! It irritates me to no end when you get a message saying call first thing in the morning & then that's the message, oh well. On a bright note I'm feeling a lot better in regards to the cold/virus, a couple days of good sleep did wonders. Thanks to Serenity I don't need to dust until spring....that's may in my book LOL! I did make dinner last night woot woot & today it's just paying some bills & babying everything else. The cellulitis is getting better and hopefully it will keep going in that direction. I believe the NCIS is on today so that means sleep
Thoughts and prayers are with Mary Ellen today for a successful surgery and a speedy and as painless as possible recovery.
Wishing all the wishes of grammagus's and then some!
Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
It is above freezing here today!! 34 degrees on my way to work today. Woohoo! There is light at the end of this winter tunnel. 16 days until Spring!!
Well, yesterday we got the final determination on Grandpa's condition. He will be sent home today with Hospice care. He has stage 4 kidney cancer. They are guessing maybe 6 months timeline. Really, a lot longer than I thought. Please keep my family in your prayers. We are at peace but of course very sad. We know that Grandpa is headed for paradise and is our belief that we will reunite one day. He has lived such a good, christian life that his reward in heaven is going to be great. I am excited for him in that aspect. I posted a silly picture of him from Christmas in my photo gallery. Such wonderful memories we are blessed to have.
Grammagus, I think its fantastic that you're turning your talent into a business. I wish you the best of luck with it. Have a great wishful Wednesday!
Serenity, enjoy your time with Mom today. Try not to overdo it. Give Penny an extra chin rub from me.
Autumn, I don't know how you keep up. Kudos to you! I'm sure Maddy's dance will be phenomenal. Get some rest today. Wishing that headache away!
Lisa, wishing you a good day of sleep. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better! What a let down from the doctor. Couldn't they tell you that yesterday?
Thinking of Mary Ellen this morning and hoping the cancer removal is as easy as possible.
Love and hugs, Vicky
Grammagus, it sounds like your business is all ready to go. That's so nice that your granddaughter can help you with the cards. I'm sure that made her day when .she heard she'd be helping grandma! I know you'll be very busy with that business.
Serenity, enjoy your day with mom! I'm sure you'll stop some where and eat. Otherwise, you won't make all the stores or last long. Enjoy and have fun!
Autumn, it's a lot of work for those dance competitions, but it's all worth it in the end (as long as you last till then lol). I hope you're able to get some rest honey.
Lisa, that sucks that the doctors office did that. Hopefully, you can see him or talk to him as soon as he gets back hopefully by then the legs will be in great shape. (Or at least better). Get some rest.
I'm off, just wanted to say hello. Have a great day! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo
Mary Ellen
wow Autumn you sure have a lot on your plate! you are a super-mom for sure! its so nice you all have a nice relationship...i missed that growing up. your girls are so lucky, i hope they know that. =) Lisa i think i would have crawled thru that phone and strangled that nurrse with that message of ill be on vacation next week...wth!? having you worry like that, not cool at all. im so glad you are feeling better my friend.
oh Vicky im so sorry to hear about the stage 4 cancer your grandpa has. im so glad he can go home to be with family for his last days here on earth. paradise awaits. im holding your family close to my heart. safe trip Mary Ellen we are with you. have a safe trip to your dr's.
leaving in 20 minutes for my dental xrays. then we have time to kill before my afternioon therapy session. may try to visit aunt but she hasnt answered my text from yesterday so i dont know about that. we may just come home, i dont knowm will think of something. thinking good thoughts for each of you, much love to the Circle.
Well I am sort of catching up. The last ten days at work have been a drain trying to train a few people on some of my duties so we can clear a few things off my plate. Training is horribly draining for a brain patient. They still arent 100% ready. Some of it involves sending out hundreds of thousands of dollars of checks and is very important. But these young kids will find any excuse not to work or blow off training. Ridiculous. So that is why I have been away. I go home, brain is mush and I collapse on the couch.
Wife is out of town this week. She went with her sis to San Diego. She got food poisoning the first day and had to go to the hopsital. She is ok. Her sister is pure evil so I think kharma smacked her sister in the ass. I hope to try and eat well while she is gone.
If you want a good laugh, I took a vacation day yesterday to enjoy the house while wifey is gone. Planned day off. Rest. Peace and quiet. So this one girl had to do all my duties yesterday. So She called in sick today. Apparently replacing me for a day wore her out. lmfao. Knew that would happen. And I'm the sick one with a brain injury!
Seren- Dont over do it hun. Maybe make it to 2 1/2 places. Pacing right?
Autumn- Hope you enjoy Maddy's cpmpetetion. Sorry I missed your party last week. Been so tired I would not have been any fun- I am a party pooper :)
Vicky- Sorry about your Grandpa. Yes, finally warmed up eh. Was the coldest Feb ever here
Lisa- Glad you got some sleep. You need lessons? I sleep TOO much. 3PM on weekends. UGGH
ME- Prayers for all to go well for you. Awesome on the weight loss. You rock!
Erica- Hows my weight loss pal? Im only dwon 2 lbs. Im telling ya this is IMPOSSIBLE!
Toni- How are ya pal? Miss my ornery bad self?
Ok nice to see you all again.
Martin
Serenity-It sounds like a busy day shopping. Pacing is hard to do when with someone else but I hope you can and not become exhausted.
Lisa - That is reprehensive to not let you know ahead of time when you were in his office. To call and leave a message like that is very disturbing. Feeling better is a good thing.
Autumn-Have your daughter ask the other dancers or the instructor where to get the supplies needed so you don't have to increase pain. It sounds like a wonderful time with your daughter to watch her dancing. Rest and relax.
Vicky-Your Grandfather is lucky to have a loving family. You are right that paradise is waiting for him. You love your Grandfather and can hold on to those memories.
Erika-Therapy and dental xrays will soon be out of the way and then you can enjoy your day.
Vertigo is just awful. No moving no thinking just nausea and the room spinning. Walking to the bathroom required get planning. GONE today. So happy,
Having lunch with a bunch of classmates that we do quarterly. One of them has been battling the return of breast cancer for 5 years and now heavily medicated due to brain/bone cancer. She just went into hospice. Her fiance another classmate has not left her side in all these years. We will honor her with memories of her.
We are the same age and out of 18 there is only one woman that has not been touched by any serious medical conditions. Five have lost their husbands. Six have pain pumps. I hate for all this medical stuff but it does let me know I am not alone. We do a great deal of laughing and remembering. Enjoyable time.
After lunch stopping by Mom and Dad to drop off dinner. Dad doesn't get out much anymore except to church.
Hugs, Love and Low Pain,
Joanne
im so glad the vertigo is gone today Joanne! it must be awful. i hope you enjoy luncheon. thanks for your support everyone.
Just got up again after sleeping all night, too.
I'm in nap heaven. I have a PM appointment tomorrow
( on edge of seat that weather doesn't interfere..I'll be out of meds)
Anyway.. guess I'll get antibiotics for throat and ear.

jc
Wishing you all a great day and catch up with you later.....
Love you bunches and top it with hugs!
Toni
Well I'm on second page of the check in and just cannot recall who said what, without flipping back and probably will lose this....so just not gonna chance it. Thumbs very painful and locked up today. Back screaming bloody murder. We decided to not take Abby, our cat, to the vet today, because it is pouring rain outside and under winter storm warning....planned on burying her but would be very difficult today. There's no change in her condition..
So sorry to hear about your grandpa, Vicky. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Wish I could give you a big hug.
Thinking about Mary Ellen. Anyone heard anything from her about her surgery?
Toni, how's that mouth pain? I hope you called the dentist. I just wish you felt better!
Love and hugs all around...
Judi
Serenity, hope you are (or had) a great time with mom today...and a great meal! I always loved to shop with my mom.
Joanne, hope you had a wonderful lunch with your old classmates. Sounds fun! Glad to hear your vertigo is gone!
Lisa, awesome news that you are feeling better. Yep, I hear ya, girl, on how frustrating those messages are with the drs. office. Drives me nuts sometimes, especially when it is over the weekend!
Autumn, sorry about your headache. I sure hope it has eased up. I have two daughters also, but unfortunately, I was never good at fixing their hair. I look back at old pics when they were little, and they had mullets or huge bows on top their heads lol!
Erika, please be safe going to get your dental X-Rays, if you aren't back home yet. How's the weather there? I'm thinking not good.
Martin, really good to see you. Hope you are able to get some rest after training all those people. That really does sound stressful.
Jc, I hate to say it, but I'm thinking y'all are in for bad weather in your neck of the woods, too. You're not that far from me and we are all headed for a winter storm system again. Hope you stay safe and warm.
Minnie, so glad things are going well for you! Hope you get your computer fixed soon! Enjoy visit with your son!
Seek! You're back! So good to see you! So did you get your computer fixed or are you borrowing one? Hope you slept well and feeling better.
