Hello my friends,
Where have I been? How much time we got. I was "laid off" from my job last week. They said they were outsourcing my dept. ok sure. As you all know my counterpart was let go 15 months ago. So i did two peoples jobs for 15 months. Nearly killing myself. Rotten greedy bastards.
So last week went to all my doctors and got meds aligned. Wife did also. She is not taking this well. While i dont expect her to be thrilled you shouldnt kick a good man when hes on the ground
I do have the required six months expenses saved and have already qualified for unemployment. While this is not the best of situations, i plan to make the best of it.
After my brain injury, i was forced back to work too soon. I am hoping this gives me the chance to get healthy. I have killed myself for four and a half years.
My mind is certainly swimming. Feel like i need to get away for a few days. I have two sisters and brothers close. Need a road trip to clear my head. After i get my affairs in order of course.
Thats all for now. I know i can count on ya ll for support. I think of all of you often and pray for those who are suffering. Cya soon.

As you know, you always have my support. This is the best thing medically speaking. You were too stressed doing that job and it would have been the death of you. I'm sorrysorry your wife doesn't put your health firstfirst, and only seems to care about the money, but she needs to realize that your health is so much more important.
I used to work like you did because I needed the money, but I was hurting every day, having surgery after surgery and going right backback to working 12 hrs a dayday, but I was killing myself in doing this. I have less money now, but am healthier and happier than ever.

I couldn't agree more with Toni. When one door closes, another one opens and like the Ostrich said, probably one that's better and hopefully fits your physical limitations. And no worries, we'll keep the light on here.
