June. It's very warm, but not too hot and not raining too much. It is very very very humid here and the rains add to it, so though Spring is a great beginning and I love watching the awakening I don't admire it's pain.

martini, i agree with all your reasons plus there's my birthday. i love feeling that it's truly spring!

I'm with you on May for the same reasons unless it's been a really bad winter and we still have piles of snow everywhere, which happens. I'm pretty sure I got married in May also, I could ask my wife but she may not know either since we celebrate when we meet which is Oct 27....or was it Oct 24....well at least I have a 50/50 chance of getting on the sh@# list. The only problem with celebrating when we meet, it makes the "sentence" seem longer than it actually was, but then again being "eligible for parole" seems closer. All the good behaviour helps too! :) I'm just happy she not on this site....I probably wouldn't be on this side of the ground anymore. That "look" can be pretty powerful.

I'm still debating about a garden. I'm pretty sure we're staying here so it may happen. If so it will be a raised garden (box) so I can sit on the edge and weed. I'll definately plant at least 25 red cedars for more privacy since we live on a corner lot. When I had the farm I had a good size one, potatoes, tomatoes, beans, cu's, zucchini and corn usually. Occasionally I'd plant a few of those "specialty herbs" strictly for "seasoning" of course, but often those damn rabbits would eat them all. They'd be laying there rolling around like a dog rolling on something dead, humming California Dreaming and Purple Haze....those little bastards.
For fall, I'd say September since October is usually cold and often the snow starts....

My favorite month is October. My Man came home on leave from the Navy. I was living in the town he came home to. He found out where I lived. He asked my dear Grams where I was. He came to where I was working. I was so surprised. It was night time. I had all the residents tucked into bed. So in he walked. We hugged and he kissed me on the top of my head. Good grief. It was so romantic I almost fell down. I was working the
2 to 10pm shift. After work he came to where I was living with my dear Grams. I made coffee and we sat at the kitchen table just talking for some time. This was the beginning of my courtship. We got married in late November. Yep. It was a very short courtship.
So October is always filled with many happy and romantic memories for me.

I love April. That is usually when I get a good taste of Spring and start feeling good about things. Even though we don't get the cold, wind, or snow, winter can still be stressful and full of winter doldrums. Also my birthday is in April along with my daughter and her son.

Since summer here is usually April-October, I'd have to say my favorite month is March. Most of the bad weather is gone and it's still cool outside.

My favorite month is August because it's nice and hot! I love the 90º weather plus my birthday is in August. The only thing I don't like about that month is thst summer is almost over. May is good too because I go to Florida and the weather is 90º down thete with the ocean in the high 80's. I could float in that water for hours with out getting cold.

Martin, I want to do a garden as well and usually do, except last year, I really wasn't in it. My strawberry plants had all been dug up by the cats and squirrels and raccoons around here. I had about 150 plants. I do romaine lettuce in an earth box so the bugs don't get in, I have daylillies, super begonias and a tropical hibiscus in the ground so we'll see. All my Roses I had in planters died last winter. I'm trying to clean a lot up because I'm trying to move out of here.

Yrod, how romantic. That was a short courtship. It worked so that's all that matters. I think when you find the right person, you know right away that you're in love.

Dianna, I'll give you our cool weather. (Lol) I understand with all the heat you get especially in the summer, why you like the cooler weather.

serenity I really guessed on june! the weather has a mind all its own.

June is a great month also. The beginning of the warm weather getting ready for beach days. Can't wait for warm weather this year that's for sure!

My favorite month hands down is May. It's my bday month and also hubby's & we were married in May. It used to be great when I was still working as my Bday usually falls on Memorial Day weekend so I would take a couple extra days off and my ex #1 (lol) & I would always go to this resort and rent a cabin for a week. We would go out on the boat and fish all day, & sit around the campfire each night. I remember one time we were roasting marshmallows his had caught fire and as he went to blow on the marshmellow it fell straight down in his crotch and burst into flames, oh my, it was hysterical! I love how fresh the air smells, flowers blooming and the smell of fresh cut grass. I love sitting around the fire pit watching the flames dance & getting lost in the story that the coals speak.
