Or, at least I think it did.
mary, i know how you feel. i have to check my calendar. i don't think i was quite ready for my guests and that (while very nice) set me back quite a bit. since i'm pretty sofa bound i can at least watch my furry visitors. 3 morning doves were up here early and i've had two squirrels so far, so that always brings a smile to my face. our weather is crazy. near 80 then down to freezing. not making anything easy. so that's where i am for now.
big hugs all around.
Minnie I'm happy to say it showed up today always good to see you :). Busy day for you today. Good luck!
Got my grocery shopping done yesterday and somehow hurt my wrist. Hoping as the day goes by it gets better, I don't need any more troubles.
Not sure yet if my Mom feels up to company today or not....riding that one out.
Erika we can always bake something healthy I'm not a picky eater! Still willing to scoop you up!!!
Moonie waiting for details of your lunch with your friend of many years.
Serenity hoping your recovery is coming along and you're getting the rest and break you need.
Peace, love and harmony...xoxo
Serenity-the beauty of nature cannot be recreated in anything else we do in our life. The wonderment of each fur, feather, scale friend is beyond comprhension as how they feel, live or love. They don't even know the joy they have given us humans.
Min-I do hope you have a successful adjustment for your dentures. Take in the beauty around us while traveling on the trees, flowers in bloom and the birds flying hither and yon.
Toni-Baby your wrist and perhaps just relax with your TV control in your hand? Sometimes we just need a down day.
My visit with my long time friend revealed some of the concerns I still have about the youth of today. I posted about the hell of a childhood she had. She said in the third grade she was walking down the hall with her head sliding against the wall. A teacher asked her why and she just kept walking. The reason was she hated her life, felt unloved and there was not one person that would understand or listen. She was and is right. Everyday children walk down the halls of the school and feel isolated, bullied and unloved. There is no easy answer. When I taught Headstart and volunteered at the 187 bed residential facility Mario was CEO for I would tell the students if you have a feeling inside you that is making you sad tell me no matter what I am doing. There is no easy answer as teachers today are underpaid and overwhelmed. Kids feel like everyone else has it good which is not reality.
I do realize my posts are always long but for some reason it makes me feel less keyed up inside my head to just keep typing. Hmmm, blame it on my brain things?
PEACE
Things are calming down on this end...still trying to catch up. Should be better this weekend ready to reach out to my friends more, miss you all so much
