Pantry and then Mom and I'm being incensed with the nightmare and her money.
Over the last six years, almost seven they have received a couple of hundred thousand of their money. At the time the only thing they need edwas their apartment and meals. They did their own laundry and house keeping, drove to the store and did their own. I took them to all doctor appointments. They were charged between 7K-12K each month. Once the money is gone they go on Medicaid. I've shared about what happened with social security paying Mom and Dad's both after Dad died. It was a blunder on their part but Mom is now being charged 29K over payment.
This means money is held out of her check and it doesn't cover where she is, they know it's also their fault as she was supposed to be helped at 95 to fill out the paperwork.
I got a call they are going to move Mom out in 30 days~~~WTF??? The woman was nice that called me, she has nothing to do with this, just to call me. They said she could get an apartment and have meals delivered. I said she can't even go to the bathroom by herself anymore, she falls, her memory is now fading, she is being fed most of the time by an aid, she's been in hospice since July 1st.......Janice came back in town and we are going over there.
This is a novel and I just had to get this out before I explode or go into afib.

72FEach day is getting cooler for the high and the leaves are turning. It's time to put the land garden to bed for the winter. Sandra, there are jobs and organizations here that demand the flu and covid vaccinations or lose the job, do you have that where you live? All the sports teams require it and many schools. Carly, that was a lot of work and emotional, I'm sure. Did you resolve the church...
Why has it got so insanely money grabbing to look after our elderly, your country and ours.

Carly it's not complicated, it's not in a will . Give a small donation and move on. Why would the church pay to upkeep a home that they had no entitlement to?

You know how I love a novel so just keep writing. But this is just rediculous. What in the world are you going to do? You do not need to go into afib!
I guess I missed along the way about the blunder with SS. How close does your Mom live to you? Is there any way she could live with you or Janice? Hospice does go to your home.
I so pray you can get this figured out.
Sandra, I wish it was that simple. We don't know what amount of donation they want yet. We have never asked for anything from the church for upkeep. They do have entitlement. Court records show part ownership. :-(
Leo, I wish it was that simple. I would love to give a tithe and move on. We just need to find out where the buck stops and if they will accept our offer.
