I've been to work this morning, when I came out it was warm and sunny. 67 f and it's October 1st today.
Apparently some polar vortex is due and we are going to freeze some point this month.
Sometimes I see things or hear things and I think are they being over dramatic with that news, sometimes you just don't know what to believe.
Joanne the table and chairs you did was so cute, she'll love it I'm sure.
Carly, we keep getting told to expect power cuts too, I'm not sure if a political thing or not.

The weather is again mercurial and that is normal for our Autumnal season.
Sandra, here in the states we eventually find out the news didn't have all the down and dirty facts, they come out later. This is what we have learned here, it always turns out so much worse, especially with the Orange One in power. We always wait for the other shoe to drop.
Painting that table and also mine took forever, it is tedious and a mistake can't be made without a great deal of effort. What we like is not for anyone. Years I ago I painted tables and chairs for people and really raked in the money. That was when I sold real estate in Florida. Now at 79 there is no way I can do that for other people.
Carly, that is so difficult to experience let downs when it comes to someone wanting to see your property and the weather stopping the viewing. This happened so many times in Florida to my home owners. It is so hard for you to be constantly living in " what are we going to do "
My Mother is doing ok, and the money situation is we siblings paying what she needs to be able to stay there. We are done with trying to right this wrong and to hire an attorney would cost each of us 3K so not doing that, just going on.
Leo, it does require a lot of patience but living with my ADHD/OCD for 79 years I've gotten into a good rhythm on what works. This might sound strange but have either 48 hours or Dateline on with actual crimes keeps my mind occupied. I also like really stupid movies when painting on husbands presumed dead but the wife finds out they were just SOB's and alive. LOL!

I did a bit of shopping today. It is getting so difficult to know what to cook with Mike doing his best to cut down on sodium. Everything is so loaded with it. We use to be worried about cholesterol all the time but he finally agreed to taking the meds for it. Thank goodness. But I find sodium is more difficult to deal with. Is there a pill for that?
We finally have the water running at the ranch house thanks to the floods. A blessing and a curse because roads that were fixed were washed out again as well as the water gaps. I could not even begin to explain how the water there works. It does come from a constant running creek in front of the house. I guess the best way to describe would be like a water well.
Sandra, warm at 67f? You would never make it here. I could not say if it is political about the power but with the Orange one who the heck knows. He claims to be a peaceful person but he had no problem starting a war!
Joanne, So sorry you are having to deal with those things with your mom. If it is cheaper to have her stay there without having to hire an attorney to make things right I would have probably done the same thing. I sure hope that they are treating her well knowing how y'all have issues with them. Can you imagine how long it could have been drawn out with attorney's involved?
