I'm sorry your arthritis is hurting you so badly today. My two Aunts used to make baby blankets for some of the Children's Hospitals. They'd make enough to fill a box and then ship it off. You remind ne of them a lot with all you do. I know those babies will live those blankets.
It's nice that you're still able to go out and do the things you enjoy doing. And thank God, there are people who will drive you if needed. The church group sounds like it has a lot sweet people willing to help out.
I used to love crocheting myself, but had to stop because my hsnds got to numb and painful to do anymore, but I'm hoping after this surgery, I may be able to do it. I kept all of my yarn so we'll see.
I had my staples out yesterday and now just have steri-strips there which will fall off on their own. I still have to wear the collar 24/7 and I go back to see him in 2 weeks although his secretary made the appointment for 3 weeks. I thought when she said the 11th, it wasn't right, but couldn't open up my date reminder on my phone at the time. I don't want to have to be in this collar for 1 more day than necessary.
I tried calling the office yesterday, but missed them, so I'll call early in Monday.
I hope everyone has a low pain day with low stress.
Love and hugs,

grammagus, i hope you have a wonderful day. what a great way to spend it. you're very giving and active despite all you deal with. from my experience men seem to be more satisfied with being a homebody than women. glad you don't let his reluctance hold you back.
i'm crossing my fingers about today with my cousins and their families, both for the weather and my body and energy. i've made plenty of potato salad, i think. i'm sure there will be plenty of other dishes anyway. i ran out of cafe bustello and had to buy something else...ugh. hard to get my motor going esp since i've been up before 5, but i'll try to get a nap in before someone picks me up. if not, no one will mind if i have to lie down. allergies aren't too bad :)
wishing all a springy day!
Hope you have a great day with the family. Potato Salad sounds good! I'm sure once everyone gets together, it'll be fine. I hope your allergies stay under control for you. I know how miserable allergies can make you.
Have a great day honey!
Love and hugs,

hubby has a call for his computer repair business at 930am in the valley. im so excited and proud of him. since he lost his job three weeks ago ive been having added anxiety, which is to be expected. his start to his business has been slow even with advertising in the local paper for three months but hes been handing out his business cards so its bound to pick up
im in "take on the world" mode so it will be a good day. i ended up baking three walnut chocolate chip pumpkin loaves for hubby and 90 MMJ cookies yesterday so im set for awhile.wishes for low pain and low stress for us all
Grammagus, sorry you're hurting. It's a shame you might not be able to continue the crocheting. Especially since it goes to such a noble cause. I, too, hope you continue to have nice people to drive you around. Especially to doctor appointments! Have a good day. BTW, when you start the morning check-in, could you put the day of the week in the header? Less confusing for a simple mind (mine, lol!).
ME, staples gone, collar to go. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy that recliner while you can. Something tells me that once the collar's gone you'll be back to running around ( at least as much as possible while still healing!).
Serenity, I'm sending out prayers that you get through the day okay. Watch those pain levels! Hugs.
Hi e4now! Glad you got your baking done. My fingers are crossed for you and your husband's new business adventure. Be patient. I hope your pain levels are low today!
Well, this morning started with a bang, literally! A transformer blew nearby. I thought Jack was having a heart attack running to the door. I thought it was an explosion. Way to get the heart going! Watching Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp. Hilarious!
I hope everyone has a low pain day. I'll be thinking of you today Serenity. Hug, Dianna.
Grammagus it's sad how we all have to keep giving up more and more of the things we like and love to do. I think you do a huge service by bringing treats and I know how giving you are :)
ME good for you those little suckers are gone! Hope your surgeon has an opening in 2 weeks and you get to take your brace off. Gosh I'll do a little happy dance when you do!
Serenity best wishes today. I know this will be a hard day for you and the others sorting through your Aunt's things. Surely she would love the way you all are coming together :)
Well GO capture the world Ericka you might as well lasso the moon while you're at it!!! Yay for hubby that word of mouth will help pick things up and hey I'm sure he's feeling like a million bucks today!
I'm moving slow today and not sure what the day holds for me. I feel like wearing a T-shirt that says "if you're intoxicated in perfume stay 25 yards away from me". I'm just convinced that's what started the whole eye infection thing. Hmm think i'll go see what trouble I can find ;)
Have a mah.....velou...s Day!!!

I read all the posts and can barely type this morning. Between the lowered prednisone and antibiotic my pain is up and mobility down. My special cookies take the edge off but I still need the Phenergan.
Hoping everyone has a better then usual day,
Joanne
I find strength in you guys!

Sweet dreams roomies and good night hugs,
