The Circle Community Group
The Circle is a Chronic Pain Support room known to it's members for their faithful, generous and outstanding support. Throw in a splash of humor to help you get through your days. New members welcome.
There is so much I have to be thankful for. My husband who is trying so hard to deal with PD, my church and its extra activities, this group, my daughter and her husband. and right now life itself is good.
We did get a ride to Ed's appointment yesterday. The doctor increased the dose of one medicine and added another. Hopefully the new stuff will make a difference. We will find out in a couple days. I always give a new med a little bit of time to see if it works.
We are not going out for dinner today, but a few of us here at the apartment complex are doing a potluck dinner. One of the gals got a turkey from her work and another gal is going to cook the turkey. We will have mashed potatoes, salad, crescent rolls, and deviled eggs. My part is the deviled eggs. I took them to another potluck and they were a big hit.
I have so much yarn now with what Ed had me buy and what was given to me that I have decided to try to make one toy for every child in the church for Christmas. We calculated about 30, but I will make a few extra just in case the count is off. I don't know if we counted the teens. I need to make one to two animals a day which is really an easy thing to do. Usually I can make a small toy in 1 to 4 hours.

I'm cooking with dad, but wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hopefully a Healthy one for all of us. It's cold here in Florida, about 55 & windy. We're having a few cold days here, but hopefully it warms up soon. I hope everyone enjoys themselves today and I'm so thankful for knowing each and every one of you.

i'm so thankful for a good night's sleep. i have dad's snack pack ready for the ride. it's going to be chilly here today, so i have to figure out an extra layer. very thankful for you all and wishing everyone a very special, low pain, low stress day!

it was a very fitful night....for my heating pad. After finally drifting off to sleep around 2, around a quarter past 2 the heating pad feverously starts wagging her tail, thumping against me, waking me up. That stops, I drift off. Around 3 heating pad is running in her sleep, kicking my one side, that finally stops. Around 4 heating pad starts doing some extensive grooming. Normally when that starts,heating pad gets told to lay on the floor, but my back was killing me so I needing her heat. That finally stops, I drift off again. Then around 5, heating pad decides that my face requires some grooming. I finally give up. lol Dang heating pads always on the fritz.
I'm going to try and be in prayer off and on all day, praying for those survivors who still carry those dang dark secrets and for those who may have to be sitting at a table with the one/s who abused them, been there...it's brutal.
I rethought about how I said that I don't have that bond with family, well with mine I don't, but here I consider this my new family, if feel the bond, the Love. That Love always hurts when I read of the struggles we all have here as I wipe those tears that fall on my keyboard when I read those struggling post. As I'm doing now....

you all are very special to me and im soo thankful to have been invited here. the love and care that shows thru out here astonishes me. thank you for having me. i one pumpkin bread two chocolate chip pumpkin breads and a batch of peanut butter fudge last night. im going to make zatarans yellow rice califonia veggies stuffing and my corninsh hens around 2. till then its football all day long bay beee lol

I'm kind of a new comer been around for a few years
But I am amazed by the people that make up this community

I too am so very, very thankful I stumbled across DS back in 2007. The friendships I've made, the support and kindness that's been shown to me is priceless. However in all that time, all the groups, this group, this family of beautiful souls are hands down the greatest. I am humbled to be apart of this special family and the wonderful friends I've made. Happy Thanksgiving! I love each and everyone of you as if you were the BFF's forever and a day.
Turkey done, pies done, potatoes, salmon for non meat eaters in the family. So much to do but yet so happy I can do this. The Macy Parade is always on as it is a tradition and I don't know 99% of the performers anymore!
