Good morning Circle Friends
It has been a long time, feels like eternity, since I have been here and spoken with any of you. I am sorry for that. I haven't been around to support any of you and I am very sorry. As most of you are now into winter I hope that the cold is not causing more pain or creating issues for you.
It has certainly been a long and exhausting lead up to the end of the year. The work did not let up unfortunately and my hope is that 2017 is not a repeat in any way.
The saddest part is that I accidentally killed Casper. My little girl who already was coping with all her medical issues. I don't seem to be handling this very well either. Work kept me busy but the holiday/break will be harder. It is very different without her but it was my fault so it is what it is.
Summer is here which is lovely. Never know might catch a few rays now that I have escaped the office.
I hope everyone wakes to a bright crisp day surrounded with kindness.

Minnie you've been so quiet....hope everything is alright, though I know your pain has been on the rise. Bet those little ones are excited about Christmas!
I've got to finish up my shopping today, not much of that left to do. Package or bag and put under the tree and finite!
I woke up hungry! First time I've felt hungry in what a week! Hope it lasts :). Did get some ice cream and ate a little last night, maybe my sugars been low. Not like me to go without sweets of some kind!
An old house is being torn down across the street right now, something we've all wanted around here. Sure wish I had one of those huge scoop trucks ha!

we are doing the drivway again ..got a dumping last night ....it is so beautiful out ...and ..it is only.3 below I was out this morning at ....6:30 ..shovelling a place for my pup to get out and go to the bathroom in my house coat and boots .......it could stay like this all winter .......I would be outside every day ....God bless everyone ...
you've been on my mind a lot. i'm so sorry about casper. it's rough when things get in the way of taking care of what you care for. take your time in grieving.

claire and i had discussed having a small get together for new year's eve and my mind went rolling when i found out someone already knew, so we got together this morning to discuss the easiest way to manage this and it seems like it's possible...hopefully.
hooked on a new series - "the crown" about Queen Elizabeth II.

I must say I was a grumpy Christmas-er this week but the positive vibes from this group brought me up. I know everyone has problems and mine are not any worse than others.
I am staying home this year but thats ok. Not much to cheer.
4 more days of work. Spoke to a fellow laid off employee today and she gave me a line on possible state paid health insurance. My COBRA premiums for next month will be $616 for me and $638 for wife. Is that ridiculous or what? Looking in to this state thing.
Warmed up today. 38 degrees. Didnt even wear a coat. Doing last of shopping today.
Probably wont be back on til Next Tuesday so Merry Christmas to all and feel better everyone.
