I am predicting a terrific Tuesday for us all no matter what we are doing today.
Finally things are starting to go right for me again. I got my gabapentin for the neuropathy pain In my feet. It works well, but I am having a little bit of an adjustment as it makes me feel a bit funny. I'm sure I will get used to it. I got my new glasses yesterday and what a difference. I did not know that I needed new lenses so badly.
However we are not having as much good for Ed. HIs doctor supposedly ordered him a walker in May. I emailed her to ask her what was taking so long? She answered that the insurance was holding it up and I could call the supplier. Well the supplier did not the order faxed over until the day that I emailed the doctor. Now I'm waiting on a call to see if it was approved and if it was approved, when are they going to deliver it..
This little glitch with the walker is not going to bring my spirits down. Even the AZ heat will not do that today.
Now that I can see better my crafting will be much easier and I can craft all day.. Yeah.

Oh I made Ed his cake yesterday and I made oatmeal, coconut, cinnamon chip cookies. They are wonderful, and chewy, just like I like a cookie. Everyone can have some of my cookies. Enjoy.

i'm moon-gazing right now and it's soooo beautiful...almost tangerine - the lower it gets the more orange-ish. i'm so glad i forced myself to get out yesterday, so i can focus on getting my apt in into some a bit more order today. i'll visit tina if she's up to it and cook something.
luckily, we're having a cool-ish spell and i can sleep with only windows open and fans blowing. so moon has set and i'm going back to bed to get some peaceful sleep.

hubby nand i are parked at the casino waiting for aunt to come out from her interview. soft count. counting all that loot. hope she gets hired. i havent slept a wink. will get aunt home safe then ill go to my two apppintments then ill try to nap when hubby goes to play pickleball. in the meantime im enjoying people watching. i hope you all have a great day

i watched a bit of ANW last night and saw some amazing athletes. my favorite was a female who missed by inches. hope that's not a spoiler! (i took the name away). my aunt and i were watching tv and a pickleball tournie was on! looks pretty exhausting.

I can barely type, think or move. HOT HOT HOT again. Our A/C works great but I needed to go to Ace Hardware once and never again......this is the second time they gave me the wrong product. Then Home Depot twice for bathroom redo supplies. The water was off until 7:30 PM so washing hands with bottled water and heating up chinese left overs. Isidro and his side kick left at 8:30 PM. He stayed until the water line didn't leak nor were there any tools or bits and pieces left around. He will be here in 20 minutes.
Grammagus-New glasses make all the difference in the world! Your cookies sound wonderful.
Serenity-Have a nice visit with Tina and love Moon gazing. Windows opened-I wish.
Angel-Glad you heard from your son. He is now venturing out into the world.
Erika-You are an amazing niece and your Aunt must be so proud. Easy does with with one foot and one breath at at a time to get through the day.
There is a couple in Arizona missing for a week after finding an abandoned car and my neighbors are concerned-related.

Erika sorry I skipped out on you last night, the arms got tired from all that bowling! It just had to start right back up too 8). Know you have a longish day after a rough night.......wishes up on a star named Chili Peppa you get some sleep today.
Moonie why do you get to have all the fun?! Are you sure you didn't move next door to Dianna? She's lived in those temps for years, we're probably really talking to a lizard you know ;). Keep you car windows down, just in case you have to go again. Freeze half filled water bottles (2), then fill before you go anywhere. I do this around here just in case and it helps hydrate while I'm on the move.
Have a few catch up things to do, but pretty much a slow day which I am just fine with :). Up late with another round of storms, might get a break tonight....haven't checked today.
Wondering how Peatmoss and Mini Moss are doing hmmm? A happy to be out of the hospital but bet Peatmoss is dragging her green behind by now ;) Have wheelbarrow, work at holding green butts up for hugs......hehehe

toni, i guess that means no sleep, but i'm glad you got to see the moon. i keep the frozen bottles, too. works for so many things. hope you can take it easy with another storm coming in. making their way here. missing our pals, too. tee hee, i'm becoming a convert to ANW. no training, but i can yell at the TV! the back stories and all else are amazing. hope your tummy is feeling better today.
i've made calls about cost on trigger point injections so i can at least make it through the apt. waiting to hear back from dr's office. i don't have the answers for the insurance co. mother really hurt my feelings when i was asking for acceptance. "if you choose to live THAT way..." really?! i have a choice? has she ever stepped beyond my threshold? how could i survive hip surgery?
tina isn't up for a visit, so i'll piddle around here as another storm blows in...=D

Oh well..my girl turned 29 yesterday on the twenty-ninth.
