Yesterday Ed went to his neurologist. It was a good visit. She actually listened to what Ed was telling her. She added another pill for him to take and gave us a new schedule of when to take what pill. He is taking pills 7 times throughout the day. It gets really confusing but I have memorized the schedule.
I hate going to his doctor as we have to take the bus and then walk 2 very long blocks after we get off the bus. Yesterday my hips hurt so bad, I wanted to cry. Ed's feet were hurting too by the time we got home.
We did stop at our favorite Chinese restaurant since it is on the corner where we have to change buses. Also his new medicine was free. Yeah!!!!

It's always so nice to see you and hear about you and Ed and what's going on! I'm sorry that his doctor is so far away that it causes you both to have so much added pain when you go. God Bless you both! That's all I have to say! I don't know if i could do all that walking without being on my knees from the pain.
Have you ever tried one of those pill holders Grammagus? The one for seven days a week maybe could be set up with Ed's pills for each day for the 7 times he has to take them. I don't know if this would be easier or not.. My cousin Michael takes a lot of pills too. Miriam has them all written down in a book and checks off when he takes them and so forth. It's a daunting task. I think he's up to 22 pills a day right now, but will go down eventually.
Hopefully, when you move with your daughter, his appointments will be a lot closer. Any crotcheting lately? How's your finger feeling? I hope you and Ed have a restful day today.
We're suppose to have more rain the next couple of days so they'll will be good days to finish up changing the closets over. I really hate this job but it has to be done. I'll try to get to the gym as well as I'm really trying to get this 20 pounds off of me, but am having the hardest time losing anything right now.
I hope everyone has a low pain and low stress day.

grammagus, sounds like a long, rough day, but i hope the new med helps.that is a lot to keep up with. glad you got to reward yourselves for that long walk with a good chinese meal. do you have any new projects going on?
ME, i know michael will have to be on quiet a few. my mother bought the clear plastic bags at hobby lobby with the ones for each time of day, so he could take them with him. good luck with that last 20. that's the hardest. maybe a change up?
it rained here all day yesterday. about 6am there were some thunderbooms so loud they set off car alarms. i feel a bit more rested today, but not exactly energetic. i don't have any big plans. want to work on my clothes, too, the temps are still going back and forth.
deciding if i need to get downtown and if i have the energy in the blah weather.

Those weekly pill holders, at least the ones I have tried are too hard for me to open. I think we both have the new schedule down and since we both have it in our memory, we double check each other every time he needs to take pills. His new pill did allow him to have a better nights sleep last night. I just hope it continues to work. She increased one of the other pills to help reduce the tremors. I haven't seen a change yet, but we need to give that time to take effect. I am just thankful for every little positive change.

Using phone which I cannot use as well due to wifi out. I am done with comcast. Son#1 has Direct TV and Century Link as he hated Comcast, too. We have DTV and will switch to Century Link for Internet.

i slept well. hubbys dropping me off at aunts work at 1230pm where mom will be waiting. the three of us, mom me n aunt kk, are doing our monthly costco and walmart run. i only have $140 budget so i cut back my list, a few times. mom gave hubby a check yesterday, but that was for roofing final supplies. he'll go to the home improvement store and buy what he needs then get back to the house and get to work while we shop.
i hope to see lots of activity on the boards later. i love this circle. enjoy your day everyone. low low low pain and very little stress for us all.
Grammagus sorry the walks hurt so much. Hope the new meds put some sparks in Ed's day. make a check off chart to put on the fridge for those meds.

Well I have my breathing test at 2:30. Then I'm back home to pups and rest. Found out I do exist at 6:45 in the morning as I had to call the doc's office. Never have been a morning person and never will be!
It's to be a week of stormy weather after 2 days of it already. Typical October for us. If I'm remembering right October-Nov are our most likely months for tornadoes. Always just didn't sound right to me. Something I don't worry about either.

Toni, good luck at the appt. My doctor referred me to a pulmonologist for lung function test. There were a few. I hope everything turns out ok. Then back home to relax with you. You shopped yesterday too so I know you're as sore as I am. I hope the kids (DM, Looma, Taco) behave for you today.
I went to the grocery store yesterday so am dealing with the soreness that comes with it. It is supposed to be 97 here today. Hello, this is supposed to be crisp, cool weather this time of year. What's up with that. I find myself being jealous of those with rainy, stormy weather (but not the barometric changes that are effecting my friends here). I would just appreciate a nice cool day. Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a nice autumn day.
