Finally, I get to put some groceries in my cupboards. I am not out or low, but my ride is going on vacation so we get to stock up some. However by being on a limited budget makes it hard to stock up very much. Extra noodles and sauce, and Ed is still asking for salad so just enough salad makings that it won't spoil. I think i"ll make a smaller one this week. I want to make a potato salad this week too, so I can get some variety.
What are all of the rest of the group doing for the day.
I'm going to try to stay out of trouble with m finger. it is being quite painful today, so I am going to let it do as little as possible.

i'm glad you got to shop for groceries. our budgets can limit the choices. you share so much, too.

i'm staying in today and planning to work in my bedroom. i want to rotate my mattress, but i'll enlist help! i think my body is cooperating today. i think i passed the inspection by the manager, but she could still send me a letter. hopefully a few repairs will come out of it.
my letter from SSA came in the mail and the nice woman there added a statement saying i am disable and when my SSD started, so i want to give to the manager. i wish it would make a difference in my rent.

Grammagus I'm glad you were able to stock up your cupboards a little. Groceries sure have gotten expensive. I hope the pain eases in your finger.
Serenity, I'm glad you were able to get your housework done and the inspection is behind you now. I'm sure everything will be fine & you'll finally be able to get the repairs you've been wanting done. It sure would be nice if your ssa check made a difference in rent. Try and rest up today.
We've been having great thunderstorms, the kind where you cuddle up in your blankies and sleep the day away. Now if I could just convince our youngest dog that he doesn't need to bark every time it thunders lol hes been barking at the thunder since 3am uuugh I finally put his shock collar on him. No we NEVER shock him we only use the good & bad tones. He catches on pretty quick. Now if I could just get Louie to quit sitting on my head lol. I posted pics of my three fur babies if anyone wants to take a look. I'm planning a day of nothing!

Grammagus, I'm glad you were able to go food shopping and I agree, it's so hard on a fixed budget to stock up. I make a nice pasta salad with mixed vegetables, summer squash, zucchini, tomatoes, red onion, tri colored rotini & Italian dressing. I make this when these vegetables are on sale. It makes for a nice salad. Also one I make with Elbow macaroni, tuna, celery, mayonnaise. That one can be a meal in itself because the Tuna is in it. I hope your finger feels better. I hope you're posting that outfit you are making. It's nice to see you back here.
Serenity, well I'm glad you passed the inspection with the manager. Please be careful moving the mattress. That's tough on the body so please make sure you have some help. I'm glad you got your letter from social security that you needed stating that you are disabled.
I had my pump filled yesterday and they ordered a cream that I use on the area before I go on so that it numbs the site a little. It's a compound cream and I guess they had to order a new one because it can't have Ketamin in it anymore. The compound pharmacy called me and the cream they were sending me was going tocost me $300. My insurance doesn't cover compound creams. So they're sending me something different for $45.00 .) He said I could use it on my torn rotator cuff tendon. I took out the higher tier supplemental to pay for the more expensive prescriptions. Sometimes I wonder why I'm paying all the extra to begin with.
It's cloudy but warm here today so right now just relaxing. Have to pick up my nephew and drive him to work this afternoon. Other than that, it'll be a quiet day.

Those rainy days are good for sleep, hopefully you can quiet your fur baby so you can get some sleep. My girlfriends dog use to go nuts during the storms too. I hope you are feeling better honey.

Lisa my daughter has 2dogs and when it thunders she puts their "thunder shirts" on. She says they work great. We used to give our dog Benadryl ordered by the vet. He was super scared of them. I hope you can find a milder solution to your dog's anxiety! BTW, I'm jealous. I love thunder storms! Could you hook me up and send me a few? Have a great day kiddo.
Hi grammagus! I like to keep my cupboards stocked too! Wanted to make a meatloaf last night but had no bread crumbs and didn't want to roll out crackers and I'm out of oatmeal so we ate Olive Garden instead. Yup, life is rough, lol! Take care of that finger today. I hope it doesn't cause you too much pain. Glad to see you back!

ME $300 is high but $45 is a whole lot cheaper, I hope it helps with your shoulder too.

We're just hanging around today and chilling. Me (Addie) I'm watching TV shows today. My Meemaw says she is recovering from yesterday and probably will watch a movie today.
