I'm back with a lot of news.
Ed had a sore throat for several days and we couldn't get him into a doctor, so we went to the ER. While we were waiting, I struck a conversation with the lady sitting next to me. It happens that she runs a conference every year that revolves around children. She invited me to bring animals to sell and to attend her conference. She even offered to pick up so I could get there and set up.
Ed's doctor wanted him to have a walker because his step is getting a little shaky. It was supposed to be here Wednesday. Well toward the end of the day I called about the walker as it had not arrived. The last note that was in their computer was that I was to call back to schedule delivery. Well we rescheduled delivery for Friday.
Also we ordered Ed a new phone as his old one was vey old and not working well enough for him to hear clearly. It was supposed to be delivered sometime this week. We went shopping Thursday morning. I told him he should wait for the phone delivery, but he wanted to get out for awhile. Sure enough the phone was delivered while we were out. I called to schedule redelivery for Friday. When I talked to our regular mail carrier she said she did not see a redelivery slip o it. She is so sweet. When she got done with her route, she went back to the PO and got it and delivered it to us. She didn't have to do that, but she is a really great person
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Sunday no matter what your plans are. Loves, hugs, and prayers for all my FC friends.
I may not be on here too much as I am making animals as fast as I can as the conference is in the middle of September. I really hope my toys sell.

I'm glad Ed got checked out by the dr as my pneumonia started out with a sore throat. Make sure he uses that cane too. We don't want him falling, God forbid. That's great news about the conference and your animals. Everything happens for a reason. I pray you enjoy your day today. Please say a prayer for me if you're going to church. Thaksin you!
I don't know what Scott and I are doing today. We're just so blessed that his son Garrett was found and he wasn't hurt in any way. He called his father last night because his mother was threatening him, and saying things about Scott and Garrett was all upset, but Scott calmed him some. We. Just can't wait to get to court so he can try to get Garrett out of that situation and back with him.

ME - such good news that Garrett is safe. I hope that he is able to be with his Dad and that the court sees the right thing to do. Are you shaking that pneumonia and telling it what for?
Grammagus - I just want to say thank goodness you typed at the end of your post that the animals are toys. At first I was thinking oh you must be in the business of selling puppies or kittens etc. But then when you said you were 'making' animals I started getting a little....well....worried and confused. So thank you for clearing that one up for me. :) lol. What a lovely postal lady! I love hearing about random acts of kindness. I hope Ed's sore throat is on the mend asap.
I am about to get some shut eye, ready for another work week. It has been a biting cold weekend but still a little relaxing too. Going to have acupuncture every week til I leave Sydney now. I think it does a lot of goodness. Birdies have been snuggled up to me all weekend. They are so cute....until they poo on your clean bathroom floor. gggrrr.

Grammagus, wow you sure had a busy week. I'm so glad Rd was able to get into the Dr to get checked out. I'm glad his walker so he'll be much steadier. As ME said he should also use a can when he's not using his walker, better safe than sorry. How exciting about your animals!! I'm sure they will be a big hit. How sweet of your mail delivery lady to go back and get your phone, that's class & customer service at its best. Hope you enjoy a wonderful relaxing day!
Mary Ellen, I'm so glad Garrett was found & is ok. It sure sounds like he's reaching out for help/attention in his own way. Whether boys or girls once those hormones hit they're aliens from 13-21 lol! I raised three teenage boys, it could be a handful, but I love those years. I hope Scott will be able to get custody of him. I hate it when a parent speaks horribly about the other when divorced, it so unfair to the child. I have you all tucked in my prayers. I hope whatever your day holds its enjoyable & relaxin
This pain & temp are getting really old. As long as I don't move my arms I'm fine. The worst is when I'm finally able to get comfortable laying down in bed that's the easy part, trying to sit back up is excruciating! My MRI for my shoulder was switched to Wed as hubby has a township meeting Monday night & since he's the treasurer he has to be there. I was able to get my Cat scan for my pancreas scheduled for Monday morning. My guess is it will turn out fine as tummy isn't hurying anymore lol! I'm going to call my spine dr & see if he'll change the MRI to include both shoulders. Today will be another day of ice and moving arms as little as possible. I know this too shall pass and when all is said & done I'll be good as new!

how wonderful that you met this woman and were invited to such an interesting event. i hope you get as much as you'd like to have done.
ME, i'm so sorry that all of you are going through such stress. it sounds like scott's ex is really unfit in so many ways. whatever you and scott do today it's fun and relaxing.
i had surprising peaceful sleep last for it being broken up by a couple hours, but nice, interesting dreams and i actually feel rested. not sure how much energy i'll have, but this feels good. toni, on a good day i might have a productive morning, but i have a couple of hours on you. we'll just see how it goes today. no shortage of things to do! oh enigma, i was watching more film noir last night, then a great classic in the middle of the night of big southern drama. finished that this morning.

ME I'm glad the little explorer is alright too. Sheesh what an age! I hope you an Scott find something to do that relaxing the tension I'm sure you both are feeling.

Serenity you know I always love hearing when you sleep well and no bad dreams are a bonus :). Hey not only are you ahead of me, but you get up way before me...tee hee!
Seek sorry about your weedle kettle hope you made it to the store in time! Sure am glad I'm a tea drinker...not so habit forming! Terrible your neighbors and others had so many losses. When your things aren't in use.......unplug like computer.
I actually got some sleep myself last night and boy has it been needed. Always have plenty around here that needs done so pick and choose. The sun is shining so pretty even if it is as hot as the Buff's ass. Nice change compared to all the rain :). Thunderstorm in tonight's forecast, but nothing else called for until Tues.

hi MAry Ellen, so glad your post made it thru the air waves. i hope Scott and his son are reunited in living together, sounds like they need each other. im sorry the ex is acting immature. playing those kinds of games is so damaging. i hope you and Scott enjoy your time together today and every day.

i slept hard and with my CPAP on most of the night. i had dreams of riding a motorcycle. was nice. going to rest today then get my things together for being away tomorrow all day. its raining again so the house is cooler. i still feel tired. i hope you all have a relaxing day. im wishing for calm aand managed pain, much love to the Circle
My body cannot do a thing today....naturally it is rebelling from all that I have done over the last 3 days. Today my fingers will get a rest because the rest of my body will do nothing but sit outside and watch the buffalo roam. Really. Up the street a neighbor has a buffalo farm. The hummingbirds, finches and wrens will also be a part of my nothingness.
Can't type anymore if I want my fingers to hold my coffee.

oh, erika, a night of riding sounds great to me, too. glad you had your CPAP on. you worked so hard yesterday, i do hope you have a nice day of rest.
toni, i'm so glad you got some good sleep, too. wonders it does, wonder i tell you (foghorn leghorn :)) yes, time zone and early rising do put me ahead, but you finish stronger, miss do it all! i was sorry to hear about the weddle kettle and splurge also. don't like those boogers. hoping you can relax until tuesday.
my pal e and i talked our usual marathon time with lots of giggles and nuts to soup. i got a lot done this morning with more planned while i'm rested and pain is low with good rest breaks in between. hoping beyond hope this lasts and i can finish plans today and more tomorrow.
will check in and hope to hear from more as the day goes on.
