We actually took a day off from packing after Ed went after boxes. His hands were hurting pretty bad, so we decided to not do anything. Oh, it is so hard to see what needs to be done and to ignore it. Today will be different. Now the boxes he bought are in the way so we need to pack them and put them against the wall. We need to take the plastic towers down and put them in the boxes so we have room against the wall.
Of all times for something to wrong in the apartment. The toilet needs a new seal where it meets the floor. We have a nice little running leak. Our apartment manager is a nut. We don't get along with him at all. I hope he comes to fix it today.
I got over my bronchitis, but this morning my allergies are in full bloom. I will be blowing my nose every few seconds. I wonder how much I can get done with stopping to wipe the nose. Oh, well, maybe if we can open the door and window, the dust will go outside and not in my face.

I'm sorry to hear about the toilet seal! It's always something? Isn't it? I hope your landlord fixes it quickly for you. You and Ed are moving right along with your packing. Good for you. I'm trying to start doing that, but haven't got far yet. I'm looking for a new apartment and got some boxes so I can start packing up stuff and have it ready. But you are moving much faster than I am. I hope your allergies don't get too bad today. Have a great day.
I sold my coffee table last night and two chairs are going this morning. It's a start anyways. I really have to start packing up my curio cabinet because it takes so long to do piece by piece. I'll box it all up now and clean the shelves and have it ready for the move, not that I know when that will be. I did nothing yesterday at all. I was totally exhausted all day so I dozed most of the day. My back was killing me so I didn't go to the gym, but got out for a little as it was a nice sunny 70º day. We won't have many more of them. Not much planned today. We'll see how the day goes.
I hope everyone has a low pain day.

I was finishing typing my response and poof it was gone so here goes again.
Grammagus, I'm so happy that you two took a day off, it's important to recharge the batteries. Kuddo's to Ed for getting all the boxes. Remember slow & steady wins the race so please pace yourself. Allergies are the worst. My husband bought Zicam extreme congestion by mistake. It was the best mistake he ever made. This is a homeopathic product that can be taken with all meds. You just squirt two squirts of the nasal gel in each nostril, sniff, and enjoy the next twelve hours of easy breathing. Just thought I'd throw it out there. You can get it at any drugstore. I hope the two of you have a wonderful day.
I wasn't able to get into my Dr yesterday, but I spoke to him and he gave me the okay to take the antibiotic I have on hand & I'll see him Mon. Oh how I wish I could see him now. The abdominal pain has come back with a vengeance, this is the worst it's ever hurt. I'm having sharp stabbing pain & it's radiating to my back. I haven't had the pain I'm experiencing now before. If it continues to get worse I'll go to the ER. I'll try and do a journal or post explaining what I think may be going on.
Provided I can get out of the doubled over position I'm determined to have a mini date day. Whenever I go to the Dr we have a mini date. Often we'll go to Dairy Queen, get a small cone and just drive. We love finding new neighborhoods and just looking at the homes. Ten yrs ago when I met him it was mainly farm country. So much of the land has been sold for all the new developments. I always give him a hard time on what a cheap date I am lol!
I hope you all take a moment for yourselves. Whether it be going outside and breathing in the cool crisp air or take a hot bubble bath etc. prayers going out for all that are facing a tough time right now. As always, wishing low pain/stress for all.

packing is a tough job. i know that awful scene of having to pack one area to get to another. i'm sorry, of all times, you had to get a toilet leak. i hope the manager comes soon.

i think i'm finally re-adjusting to this sleep med. i was awake earlier, but got on the heating pad and caught a few more winks and a pretty cool dream. there are finally blue skies out there!!! same ole goals as the rest of the week. get something done!! it's cool, but no storm clouds. =)
wow, allergy attack w/ collalsal sneezes. it's that time, but i'll take it.
maybe i can get some more photos of things to put on etsy.

no news from mother, but i think after the anesthesia she's sleeping in. i'd feel so much better if one of us was there with her.

ME, yay on the sales. now for the right apt to come along. good luck with the curio cabinet... small stuff is the hardest. and you will be ready to jump out that door! be careful not to push to hard, sweet gal.
lisa, what you're describing sounds terrible. i want them to find an answer for you so much. being no fan of the ER myself, i hate to say go there, but i just want you to have some answers and treatments.

Ironic that Grammagus called it "sweet Saturday" as today is Sweetest Day. I know most of you don't know what sweetest day is because it is only celebrated in a few of the north eastern states. It is similar to Valentines Day as it is a day to celebrate the ones you love. Today I celebrate all of you! Chocolates for everyone!

I am on call this weekend, so not a lot planned. Hubby is off this weekend and my in-laws are stopping over today. It will be nice to visit with them as we haven't seen them in a while.

A couple of you I am familiar with from other groups. I do know that all of us have a burden to carry, called pain. It sure does seem to change how a person goes about their day. As for me I never thought I would be like this. So I rely on my sense of humor each day.
I am glad to be here. I hope that everyone has a low pain day. Also that everyone will find something to smile about throughout the day.
As for me I have the window open so I can hear the birds waking up. I so enjoy hearing them sing. A great day is happening here and I hope the same for everyone here.
im up early. i wanted to make sure i said good morning to my aunt that works at 9am- 1230pm mon-fri and 9-5 saturday at one job as a book keeper, then 9-6 sun at moms work manning the front desk of a retirement assisted living place.on sun. she works 7 days a week has for months she looking for a full time job at one place with 2 days off. she hasnt had a day off and prolly wont til thanksgiving time poor thing.
absolutely nothing planned today so we will enjoy some of our DVRd programs while i check in here.pain was high this morning but its a bit better right now. best wishes go out to those in need and for whos family's going thru turmoil

ME, good going on selling the furniture! I'm just sorry you have to leave your home due to those idiots that live upstairs. We just do what we gotta do though, right? Knowing how much pain you suffer daily, having the dial turned up can be miserable. I hope you take it easy today. Hugs.
Lisa, sorry you have so many ailments but glad you talked to your doc. How is your ankle and wrist. I hope they're healing well. Ahhhh, that's so sweet that you and hubby do that. Hal & I used take the kids to Baskin-Robbins and get ice cream cones, then go look at Christmas lights. Of course, once they were teenagers they didn't want to go so Hal & I got ice cream cones and went looking, lol. You may want to go to the ER if the stomach pain gets much worse. Not only is pain hard to catch up with but the pain could be indicative of something more acute going on. I hope the pain eases for you sweetie. Hugs

My mini alarm clock Max woke me up this morning. It was about time to get up! Hal's working today so won't see him for a bit. Both cats are taking their siesta so all's quiet on the western front! I'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can take my muscle with me to grocery shop but for today will just rest. I hope everyone has a peaceful, relaxing Saturday.
