Today I need to be a superwoman. This morning it is shopping, then later in the day it is off to see a friend who just had surgery on her foot. Two of us are going out there to take her groceries, prepared food, and to see if we can help her with any house hold chores.
I have been really busy. Yesterday I baked honey wheat bread, my nobby apple cake and macaroni and cheese. I am taking some of each of these to Lois. Her handicapped sister lives not too far from me so I rode my bike over to her house yesterday with some of these foods.
Also I am going to give some of these foods to my ride out to Lois's. Lois lives about an hours ride from here. Carrie and I should have some good fellowship time.
Last weekend I was able to afford some yarn, so I have been crocheting blankets for the babies in my family so when I get there, I will have something to give them.
When I go shopping this morning, Ed told me to get some more yarn.
While at Lois's, she will probably want to give me more baby yarn, but I'm still working on the yarn she gave me a few months ago.
Also this coming week I'll be making little bell Christmas ornaments. Also I will try to find my Santa Christmas ornaments pattern. These are small enough to hang on the tree. I like to give them as Christmas presents.

You're up early today! I'm sure Lois appreciates all you are doing for her. That's so nice that you and the other woman are going over to help her out. I'm glad you're doing your crotcheting again. I know how you love to make those blankets. I was wondering where you were. We miss you when you don't check in with us.
It's a cold one here today 27º so I won't be doing much outside today. I got my hair done yesterday so that's out of the way. I have some laundry to do, but I've had a rough night sleeping so I may just take it easy today and do some light picking up around the house. I know a nap is definitely in my future.
I hope everyone has a low pain day today.

grammagus, you already have been superman. to me sharing food is sharing love and you do that in so many ways. i'm glad you're able to ride again and crochet. if you only had the time, you could really have a great website teaching folks all these skills. you'll be able to pass them on to family once you move. take care as you do all this.
ME, i'm so sorry you didn't sleep well. i hope it was excitement and not pain. i hope you can have an easy day with a good nap in there. strangely, we're only a few degrees warmer here. enjoy, the countdown!
my little bun warmer is staying close and purring like a motor boat in this cold weather. she's really a velcro kitty until i sneeze then she's like a cartoon kitty with the lines behind her. unfortunately, that's all too often.
just housework here today. i'll just show claire a photo of some soap she likes that will be get here next week for her b'day and give her her card.

Grammagus, I'm tired just reading your to do list lol! Bless your heart for bring Lois some food and offering to help around her house. I'm sure she's going to love it. Mary Ellen, I'm sorry you didn't sleep well again last night. I'll bet it felt good to pamper yourself yesterday. I hope you'll forego the laundry today and just rest. Just think this time next week you'll be basking in the sun and enjoying time with your dad.
Seek, Now that's one sweet ride!! I am so happy for you. Now we just need to get you in tip top health so you can hit the highway and let your hair blow in the wind! I hope your able to get a good nights sleep tonight.
It's a whopping 6 degrees this morning according to the thermometer. Their saying we're under a winter weather advisory for later today, after their last predictions I'll believe it when I see it lol! I'm hoping to finally get some sleep today. I was able to accomplish a few things yesterday. I did the dishes, wiped down the counters, ran the electric broom, dusted and had a shower whew! I finished just before my tummy pain decided to slam me and slam me hard, this time it went into my back ouch! I've been doing so good, it hasn't given me any grief in a little over a month. Fingers crossed I'll finally get some sleep and wake to it being gone. I need to wrap the TV for my dad, make the sloppy joes, jello & a yellow cake with chocolate frosting...all his favorites!
Well I hear the vocals of Busterbrown so time to head in, give them all their breakfast and head upstairs to where my pillow is calling my name.

Serenity, good morning honey. I would have just given Claire those spoons you bought her. It was the thought that counted. Were they exactly the same ones? I know how excited you were to give them to her. Don't do too much today. I hope you are feeling better honey.
Lisa, 6 degrees, that's cold. I'd still be under the blanket. I was tired just from reading all you had done already. You must be feeling better or so I hoped and then I read your stomach was acting up again. Hopefully, after you get some rest, you'll feel better.

Serenity-My fur baby doesn't like sneezes or me talking as she will run for the window ledge. Claire is lucky! I have made all my soap for Christmas gifts. She will really appreciate.
Lisa-cold!!! You did a lot and now it is time to take it easy for the day. The cake sound delish.

Min-It is cold in the PNW!! I am sorry your holidays will be sad. We are here for you and hope to ease the pain. Special hugs to you.
Erika-easy does it on the laundry and enjoy your bath. My fave is a hot hot shower at night followed my rub down with lotion sets me in a wonder state of mind for dreaming. You have a day of rest and relaxation after the laundry.
Today will be easy does it after this week. Making banana bread, finishing painting the frames for some pictures I painted. There is no particular style as I am all over the spectrum. Hubby taking the guys to see a movie.
The lowering of the prednisone is being felt and that is disturbing but I do not want to stay on this drug. Miracles do happen and I want one.

just hanging out with claire and slow pacing today...best to all...
hubby had a sinus attack at three am which sucks because we were going to a friends for dinner tomorrow. hes out bringing 5 or 6 loads of split wood in to fill the wood box, i can hear him sneezing from here. sucks. just made german sausage polsa kielbasa onions egg scramble to go on top left over french fries and top it with leftover chili smothered in cheese. i call it eZscramble. made enough for everyone lol

I've been outside all afternoon splitting firewood
I have a splitter that works of my tractor,
That thing will go through anything
, mostly I roll the piece in to the splitter
And let the machine do it's magic
Time consuming but it's alright
Yea know busy work
I'm feeling better about this whole snow thing
I talked to a pal up on the south side of Lake Superior
Last Monday and Tuesday they got 50 inches of snow,
One storm! Lake effect snow
And the towns stayed open, amazing!
Anyhow don't see that happening here.
I think that is a good thing
