Grammagus, we both had the same idea. Since you posted first I copied mine into yours.
I'm so happy you are feeling better!! I'm sure your friend will love her penguin as will your Grandaughter with her s'more pillow. If your able please post a pic of them. Please pace yourself packing. This will sound silly, but St. Anthony always comes through when I need help finding something I've misplaced. It sure can't hurt to ask him to help your daughter find a place. I just know when she least expects it something will come up. Sometimes realators know of places for rent, just a thought. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Well my Dr yesterday was thankfully firing on all cylinders! He ordered a CT scan of L leg to rule out the one long shot I thought it may be... Osteomylitis. I didn't even have to suggest it. He took one look & that was the first thing out of his mouth. He also ordered a complete blood panel along with an ASO level. When I have my INR done they need to send it out to have a Chromogenic ten level done as I have the lupus gene in my blood. Because of that my normal level is 7-8, where a regular person would normally be 3-4. My level showed greater than 8 & that's as high as their machine goes. I'll be having the scan next week. On my profile page I just posted pics of my L leg. Two are from when I was in the hosp in Dec 2013, heads up their gross, I posted three of my leg now and.....for a brief period I put a pic up of me, why it posted sideways I have not a clue. So all & all a good appt.
Hubby and I went out for a burger and I came home and crashed for a couple of hours. Not much on the agenda today. I forgot to ask doc for a cortisone shot in my shoulder. I'm not supposed to have anymore & I have had so much over the years, but I can't handle my shoulder much longer. I guess in the long run its best I didn't so shoulder Dr can really see very limited range of motion. I'll see him after spine dr appt is out of the way. Today, sleep & TV an exciting day for sure lol!
I hope everyone has a low pain/stress day. Take the time to do something silly today to lift the spirits. JC I came across a pic on FB last night & thought of you. I posted it below.
Hugs & God Bless

ok, this is going to be interesting!
happy crocheting and packing, grammagus. zillow is a good site to look for rentals. i hope your daughter finds a great apt. i'm sure your penguin will be greatly appreciated. nice thank you gift!
lisa, glad your dr was on the ball yesterday. you must get some answers on this. your plans sound like my kinda day! enjoy. as jan said you are pretty, but your poor legs.
my achy breaky body. i hadn't fallen in so long i forgot home many body parts react. no bruising, just unused muscles called into fast action. i had to cut out some of our plans yesterday. you know when you're shopping and the pain gets so bad you forget what's even on your list...that. and i really needed things. whatever.
last evening tina came by and got to see my things from granny's cedar chest. grammagus, you should see the crochet work in some of it and from a century and more ago. i have a huge envelope of family letters i want to look at today. some from my great great uncle from overseas in WWI with parts cut out by censors. cool. so that and rest and walking around in a cloud of icy hot!
wishing all a very good day!
You sure are productive ( and generous) with your crochetting skills.
.. glad your plans are moving forward for your move.
Hi, again, Lisa
:-)
The weather's above average warm this weekend..
So..I NEED to get it of the house.
( I really don't think I left the house for anything not medical last year)
Still kinda all over don't feel good..
So..it will probably be tomorrow, not today.
I hope y'all are having plesent weather, as well..
Seems to help with pain some.
And.. I hope everyone gets to enjoy at least some moments this weekend.

S.. hope you do keep it slow and mend. I can smell the IcyHot. :-)
E4 it's good to feel rested. Sounds like you're feeling a bit better?
Hugs
Grammagus, crocheting and gifting the people selflessly is a great barter system! Good luck packing the rest of stuff next week. I hope your daughter finds a place for you soon. Have a good weekend. Maybe rest up a bit, ahead of finishing the packing come Monday-Friday?
Lisa, I'm praying you don't have Osteomyelitis. You might have to spend some time in the hospital if you do. Please take care. Sorry you couldn't get another steroid shot in your shoulder. What a pretty pic of you! Relax with that leg today. I hope you have a good day's rest. Hugs
Serenity, sorry you're having such a rough go of it with the pain. I hope it eases up soon. That is so cool about the letters and crocheting from so long ago. I never met grandparents on either side of my family. One set were killed before I was born by a drunk driver. Just never met the other set. So I love it when you share old letters, etc! I hope you have a good day too.
GM jc. I'm ready for some warm weather after being stuck inside with a trio of cats! I hope you get out in it and I also hope your pain is manageable today. Hugzzzz
Erika, I'm glad you got some decent sleep. No burglar is going to step foot on your mom's property with 2 Chows living there. Good luck to mom and you finding some space to rent. Let us know how your SD is doing, k?
Got up this morning to an ankle biter. Sigh. Welcome to my morning world! Thankfully Hal is home to troubleshoot these guys today, lol. He took Roxy to the vet this morning for her first round of vaccinations. Vet said to wait 2 more weeks to throw her to the wolves (Max&Jack). He wants to be sure no one catches anything from either side. Enough about them.
I wrote out a grocery list and Hal left to do our grocery shopping. He offered. What a guy! I'm like you jc. I don't go out for any reason unless it's for medical or hair or nails. Otherwise I stay put. Especially during flu season. If I make it through February, I should be home free. That marks the end of flu season here. I have an appointment to see my optometrist Monday. The constant floaters in my right eye, along with the bright arcs that come out of nowhere will probably need a referral to an opthamologist. A little worried about the retina being detached but not too much until I see the doctor.
I'll shut up now. I hope everybody has a warm, peaceful Saturday.
Hugs,
Dianna
Relieved to hear you're seeing the optomologist Monday.
Eye stuff can be so scary.
I'm glad you have Hal to help you. You deserve that.
Damn it.. I didn't even think of Fu season.
Oh, well.. I'll avoid proximity to folks.
Good for you for keeping up the hair and nail appointments!!
Not always easy. Bet Hal appreciates the effort. :-) :-)

Grammagus yippee on that bug being gone! I'd love to see the look on your friend's face when she sees her penquin, I know it makes you feel good to give back to her :).
Lisa yes a productive appointment!!! So glad he is taking you seriously and is going to get to the bottom of this. Hey did you have ice cream with those burgers ;)
Serenity I bet you are feeling it! throwing in some icy hot, can't have you running out :). I'd love to see those letters! Love history :). Take it easy on yourself and get a soak in.
JC come and pick me up! I need to get out too. It's doc appts, tests and groceries. Boring and old! We need an adventure, maybe throw firecrackers at the wiseasses or something hehehe. Hopes up you are on the way to feeling better :)
Erika good to hear you feeling all rested up over there :). Now you're talking my kind of language with the jewelery and artwork. I use to make jewelry myself until the hands couldn't hold anymore. I still have containers of my things and won't let it go! I have several pieces of the art too. I think your Mom and myself would get along very well :) Don't over do!
Need to do the dreaded sweeping and might make chicken veggie soup later. I'm in the middle of the warm up and think i'll open up some windows and let the house breath. At 50 not for long!
A good day to all,
Toni
JC, hello again! I sure hope your shingles clear quickly, for today I hope your pain eases. The only time I leave the house is for an appointment or family function so I know where your coming from. Should you decide to venture out tomorrow please take it easy & enjoy the outing!
Erika, though it was short in duration I'm glad you woke feeling rested. I hope you have a nice time with your mom when your out and about. Please pace yourself. I'd hate to see your back flare even more that it has been. I hope you have a special weekend with your mom.
Diana, I think a party will be in order in two weeks when Roxy finally gets to show the boys who's boss lol! She's lucky to have you guys. Your hubby's like mine he always does the grocery shopping & errands. He's turned into the coupon King ha! I'm sure worried about your eye I hope you get some answers on Mon or sooner should you decide to go to the ER if it gets worse. Find a comfy chair/couch, kick your feet up and have a relaxing day.
I've been meaning to call my 1st hubby for the longest time & was able to do that this morning. Had a nice conversation getting caught up on life. Even though he's an Ex, he's still one of my dearest friends. Ohbekaybee these peeper's are starting to slam so I'm finally off to bed. If I don't get back here later I'll check in tonight.

e, i hope you can find a place. have you ever checked out etsy.com? it's great for artisans and vintage sellers. hope SD is doing well with his rehab.
CNW, i'm so glad that you have dear hal. i am so blessed to have known so much of my family. i just know i'm breathing is so much better. no sneeze attacks. i really hope you you find out what going on with your eyes and that it's not detached retinas. have you had laproscopic surgery or do you have migraines. i've had occular migraine with similar symptoms.
oh, my great, great great uncle served on the inteprid which was retired to nyc which i visited. just blows my mind...
Lisa-I had a lettuce wrap burger out last night. Delish! Praying for your leg. Nasty osteomylitis needs to stay
away!
Serenity-you are so right about falling and having the body reveal unknown places. It is exciting to read and discover hidden family memories.
JC-the warm weather with sun is so cathartic. I am sorry you are not feeling well but I bet some sunlight could give a moment of pleasure.
Erika-I was going to bed when you awakened. There were some things I needed to get out of my mind so just went forward with that thought and worked on the pc. Hmm, Chow Chow's are beautiful but not in my world. Have some fun today with the jewelry and then going to rehab.
Dianna-I can't stop thinking and worrying about your eye. Besides hubby and his detached retina nightmare I have both my Dad and Aunt. So I am waiting for Monday and your eye appointment.
Toni- 50* is window opening time for a moment in time. Sweeping is now accomplished in my world with a small floor vacuum. Light weight and does the work. Hmmm, yes, chasing for the ever elusive Cabana Boys can be a full time venture..jealous????
I don't feel any different now being the Great Grandmother ( Nana ) to Anya Lorene after my Mother. Just excited. Today is a wedding that is at 2:30 PM across town the then the reception is 5 PM another direction. I just might go to the reception as then I can say hi to this dear sweet family. I have known the groom since he was conceived. Hubby is at work but might be able to meet for the reception. What to wear???? All my wedding and really fancy stuff is two sizes smaller then this prednisone blow up. Hmmm.
Went to sleep at 2/30 this morning because I could not load the indicators I needed onto my MT4 stock chart. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers on my stock site that stayed up and sent me videos on how to load properly. So perhaps today I will attempt tonight.
Body is separated from my mind so I can move forward and enjoy the wedding.
Hugs, Love and Low Pain,
Joanne
