Can't speak for anyone else, but a quick ruin for a romantic getaway for me is alwasy *car trouble*. Nothing like being two hundred miels away from home and *clunk* there goes the car. Agh.

We made a reservation for a motel suite with a jacuzzi in it. We planned a little sumpin', sumpin. We actually were going out of town to watch our daughter play in a tournament. Never had a room with a jacuzzi. I was peri-menopausal so I never knew when I'd have a period. Well, the day we left is the day it decided to visit me!

Did not happen to me, but on her honeymoon, my one friend had her good time ruined by a mokney that broke into their bungalow.
