jc, ain't it so. i never, ever imagined such a close-knit, caring bunch of people...most of whom are in this circle, but i'm still in touch with folks from years ago. i consider you gals and guys the best and appreciate the care and concern here beyond words.

JC (Peatmoss) I'm glad you've found what I feel is a comfort nest of those friends to come to. When Jaimie had her stroke we couldn't feel what you were feeling and still are, but we sure feel for you and her. Your pain belongs to us too.

I never thought of finding true friendships either, just hoping for people that truly understood my desperation. I've been pleasantly surprised.

There is much comfort in being here. I've been amazed over and over again watching how everyone helped each other through some very hard times, myself include. I honestly couldn't do "it" on my own and don't have to with you all by my side, which I will always be thankful for.

Yes, and to think a complete stranger and now a friend and her hubby pick up my son and either house him or deliver him for his surgeries across the USA......

It's so true JC, I never thought in my wildest dreams that all of you would become more like family to me than even my own family. I have made such good friends here and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. I know whenever I need comfort or want to share even a laugh, I want to come here first.

A special group of people to me.

JC it was your morning posts on the CP page that made me see that I am not alone in this experience or journey (whatever you choose to call it). I saw for the first time that just because you are in pain and have this life that no one (here physically around you) understands it does not mean you have to be negative and beat yourself up all the time.

Then I met others in the group (some I connect others I don't and thats ok) and started to find a different kind of friendship. THEN the beautiful Toni invited me here to this extraordinary circle of incredible and inspiring people (JC I was thrilled when I saw you in the group, thought I had lost you on the CP page). My life would not be the same if I did not have every one of you in it. We might be online but to me you are all more real than my friends that I can physically see and talk to. There is something very grounded about the Friendship Circle and I just have this feeling that these friendships are the ones I will have for life.

Ok now I'm crying. JC you started this! :)

JC, I couldn't agree with you and the others more. I for one would be lost without what I consider not just close friends but family. This is the first and last place I go to daily. If I miss a day, I find myself worrying about how everyone is doing. Never in a million years did I think I would find such a special group of friends. I will always be eternally grateful to Blaine for inviting me here. You my dear peatmoss despite all your pain and tribulations never fail to make me smile when I see your Avi.
