It's been made clear to me that putting this off is not an option.

She needs med changes. Like yesterday
This can be done most safely inpatient.
Elijah has to be back before school starts at start of August
Oh, and I have another test that "cant" be missed on the sixth of June

. My husband has three major jobs going on out of town
) licenced contractor. No " family sick leave " for the boss.

Don't have one.

what is the recovery time? surgery can be set for after jaime going inpatient for med change.
not sure where elijah is, but that a month+ away.
this can be done. not saying easily, but it can be. can mom or sis or friend come to help you during recovery and more?

But, is having health problems of her own, as well as Stepdad.

. The good news is ... little Dudles is doing very well again
I know this will all work out, somehow.

The point is=YOU have to be well enough to deal with everything else. This is a hard lesson learned. If your Mom volunteered take it and she might have health problems too but you really need someone right now in your corner.
Life just sucks at times and this is one of those times for you when you are being pulled in polar opposites....
Have no other advice but to keep breathing.....

i guess it will be quiet...trying again. to reply.
maybe you can explain all the situations to the hernia surgeon, but it really sounds like you can't put that off. and i know jaime's changes need to happen sooner rather than later...i didn't think 25/8 was a slip. i know what that's like, so did the beatles you know...8 days a week was a big song. nice of sister to be watching eli, but a shame she can't come. i know she has a life she needs to deal with.
so glad dude is better. life gets so damn complicated!
