Well.. finally the week of Jaimies appointment. Wed.
I don't know whether to hope the team decided to try the iffy simpler procedure first
Or just do the craniotomy.
On the one hand.. the iffy one is far less invasive..
But.. I just can't imagine her going under for that surgery thinking this is it..
And then having to tell her, no, they couldn't do it..
You have to have another craniotomy.
As of yet.. they haven't told her that's a possibility.
She doesn't know that..
Her aneurism is in a "bad" artery... is a " bad " shape.. and, on a difficult arch.
All meaning that the " simpler surgery is complicated..
And very possibly not doable.
Anyway.. I hope they schedule it for soon..
This waiting has been awful.
( especially with the constant feet that it could bleed while waiting.
The upside is..
She continue to improve. In spite of " acting as if"..
To start and keep her fighting for it..
I didn't t know if she'd get much back in her right arm..
And she has.. including down to her fingers.
Sorry for rambling..
Trying to focus on the positive .. while the closer this appointment gets..
The further away it seems.
Haha.. DS will probably lise it anyway..
But.. thi king I was " talking to you guys was therapeutic anyway.

Incredibly tough decision to make. The waiting is not making it any easier either.
You and Jaimie are sticking together and I am certain that when she goes in for the surgery she will carry all of your strength and love with her.
And we here are giving you all of our strength and love to keep fighting the good fight.

Good to hear she's progressing even more, she's one tough cookie. Mom's has had a rough time of it, but her baby wouldn't be getting this far without her.
Throwing some spoons your way....digging in junk drawer and hmm tossing you a scooper, some dice, and some bubbles........can't forget that love and hugs

The waiting as long as you have knowing the little ticking time bomb is there now that has to be the hard part. I agree sooner is better. We will just wish for another recovery, Jaimie being strong and trusting you and the surgeons. Wish for no set back on the recovery she has made and continued recovery..
More than anything I wish for some peace you can find for this all my dear friend. Your dear girl is alive and hard as it is each day with the struggles and fear and in spite of everything you are an awesome mom.
You are the one who is the glue that holds it together even if it might just be until D gets home. Somehow though I believe you keep the night oil burning too.
