Hey Everyone I know the new DS is very challenging, but what hasn't been for the past several years?

Don't forget the warriors that you are and how we rise up together to meet every obstacle that lies in our path! In this too we will succeed.

My suggestion is to spend the time really going over your profile, sending hugs, messages, receiving and working on getting around DS. I am kind of at an advantage here as I've been at another support site that worked under this same program and after awhile it becomes much easier to work with ;).

The truth is it's up to all of you whether you want to break these ties or not. I think many of us have formed personal relationships other than DS, but as a group we are strong. The encouragement of a friend is so rewarding, helpful, and warms the heart.....the encouragement of many just multiplies those feelings. I myself am not ready to give it up!

DS is not going to change the program and it's a miracle the old one held up as long as it did. It's like a milk container will hold 200 marbles, but they squeezed and squeezed, and managed to get 300 in, one more and the container would explode and all would be lost! I don't like the new program, but sure am thankful they saved us all from getting lost :).

Any suggestions? comments? boosts?

Love you all and I don't want our special something to fade away......

All my friends seem to have disappeared. I can't see how or where to send a hug. I think the admin doesn't understand that people come "here" because they are not feeling well OR they are wanting to share good news about healing. We need an easy way to do this, not a pretty website with little functionality.

Mariposa try looking for your room and type in your friends. I think your lost :). There is still a hug book thank goodness for that one, but yeah I don't know anyone yet that likes this new site. Best wishes and good luck :)

I don't like, or dislike this site. I haven't truly learned enough yo make that decision. It did take a few hours of "this sire is not safe" before I was able to access it. Plus, we her the gripes and complaints louder than we hear the goof stuff. Give it a chance. It might be an adventure. I like adventure!!!

I'm the first to admit I absolutely hated it. Now as I'm starting to play with it & my eyes are adjusting where to scan its not that bad because all of you are here & we're family. We are still IMHO the best damn group on DS & that's thanks to our fearless leader for making a new home for us all. Sooooo I say this calls for a housewarming party!!!! Anyone else game to tie one on with our cabana boys!? Lol

I am most likely the loudest griper and I do know how to navigate the site......what if problematic for me is due to my brain things it is really draining my brain and staying on track. This is not advantageous. Also where is the privacy for people in groups? Really do not like having everyone in a news feed and the first one when I logged on was someone in a child abuse support group posting about her rape and I doubt she knew a complete stranger would be reading that info...........I embrace change but not at the expense of confidentiality and difficult posting........Peace

agree with moonie and then some. i won't go on. i've sent in numerous comments to DS. i'll be FB and looking for a new support group. will miss everyone here tremendously. the dynamic, the support. spam is getting on posts, they're going out to the main page, this is impossible to navigate. i can deal with change but not absolute absurdity and that's what this is.

I'm not wild about it either! I just don't want us to lose touch with each other. A few of us are on FB, but not all :(. We can make this a closed room so others cannot see our comments. Terrible about the woman's privacy being invaded!
Serenity I hope you change your mind, you know how I feel about you and what a huge part you are to the room.
Lisa I actually didn't have to set up the room it was already here, I just did a little tweaking :)
