New baby in my family.

Yesterday my granddaughter had a boy. He was 9 lbs 8ounces and he is 21" long. Her water broke at home around 8 am yesterday and she thought because she was bending over she just we her pants because the baby has been affecting her kidneys. She had a scheduled dr. appointment to see when they were going to induce labor. She went in to hard labor in the dr.'s office. Her labor was so intense they transferred her to the hospital in an ambulance. The baby was born at 1:30pm That is only 5 1/2 hours total labor. I am glad she had no complications and the baby is healthy. I am feeling good this morning.
