Hi all:
I know you guys are probably bored of me talking about my ucnle but I have to tell one more funny story that really sums him up. Well besides all the times we watched football together and he drove me to the airport so I could park my car in his driveway.
You guys are my friends and I have to share this with you......
Ok, so we are at my wedding reception. Its after dinner and the dancing and drinking begin. I am having a great time and trying to have fun with everyone. The night gets longer and my Uncle Frank says to me "Hey I think those people just went thru your envelope box and took your money. I said What? I looked in our envelope box and saw that it had appeared to be tampered with, it was pried open. I asked if he saw who did it and he described the guys and said they just walked out of the door. Friggin Johhny on the spot.
I grabbed three of my biggest friends and ran outside. These punks were in the parking lot running away with my money. They were friends of one of my wifes co-workers who crashed the wedding. So me and my buddies said hey WTF are you doing and ran fter them. They started to run andi said you better run cause we are gonna beat your ass. So they took off ahead of us and edned up getting in to a van at the very end of the parking lot and got away. I would have tore them limb from limb and so would have my buddies.
So as we were walking back to the reception I found three envelopes addressed to my wife and I on the ground in the parking lot. They were ripped but not open. Long story short my Uncle Frank told me he had been watching them all night and they had started to break in to our money box. Well guess what, long story short these punks got away with nothing. The next day we counted all of our envelopes and all guest and checks and money were accounted for. Uncle Frank probably saved me hundreds of dollars and lot of hassle telling people what happened. Unbeleivable.
The moral of the story is he was always looking out for others. he could have been drinking at the bar with his relatives but he was watching over my best interests. He taught me to be selfless, to be a family man and what it means to be a Godfather. I can never thank him enough but I sure have some great laughs and memories.
Thanks for hearing my story my friends.
