69F YoYo weather
Today is shopping day and I need to pick up another hummingbird feeder.
Sandra, how did your doctor appointment go? Do you get the flu vaccine for over 60 there that is more powerful? Having the flu always is pretty scary for those of us getting older, it leads to not good outcomes.
Carly, are you back and how did it all go? We want all the details, LOL!
Leo, and are you still around? Miss you.
Yesterday more of the wallpaper and beadboard were added to finish the room. I'll admit to being a rather slow and methodical person but that's is just how I roll. There are times I do so wish I was faster but wishes don't get me anywhere. I'm trying to think about what my new craft will be this cold, dark, wet, snowy, icy and windy winter. In the past it was to crochet but I'm looking for something else.
PEACE

Welcome to the group, SunCloudJD!We're so glad you joined us and we hope you enjoy it here too!

It's been warm today, highest at 74.
No I didn't, really annoying. So Doug and I have the NHS app on our mobile phone like a lot of people here. We got a message saying if you click on the link you can book an appointment. We tried every day since we got it and the same message came up that there were no appointments and to contact your local surgery.
So I went this morning hoping to book up there for us both but the receptionist said there were no more appointments, it was fully booked. Why send us a bloody link then? ...
Local pharmacies do walk-ins and some you can book.
Where I work there is a chemist/pharmacy right next door so I'll inquire in there.
Indeed the flu can be deadly! Doug was in a coma for 4 days with flu virus A in 2018. Then he was in another coma for 10 days a couple of years later but that's another story. So we really don't want the flu.
I've been in hospital myself a number of years ago too where flu led to pneumonia.
I've been lining up projects too for the winter. I saw this idea of making hanging plants with beads, so I sent off for a load of green beads :-)
I also want to go through all my craft stuff, way too much!
Carly yes looking forward to hearing about your trip.
Leo you keep disappearing
Finally home and so glad to be here but I hated leaving. Not sure if ya'll want to hear all the details as it could fill another novel of mine. :-)
This trip wasn't near as fun as the last ones. We worked so hard cleaning and packing and packing still not done. We brought soo much stuff to the charity center that I thought they would say ok that is enough. We went to another thrift store and they were so glad to have stuff.
The most difficult thing about clearing things out is that it not like moving for yourself. Every bin or box had to be gone through piece by piece not to miss anything personal. And I am glad we did but it was so time consuming but I found myself keeping somethings that I was glad I found.
I am telling you that my Mom's 10 craft bins would rival any craft store. And when we thought that all the clothes were bagged Christie opened another closet! More clothes! Some even had tags still on. We did save some things to keep at the house just incase we needed something.
I sent before done hoping not to lose the post. I am not sure when we will be back. We left so many things thinking maybe someone in the family would want them. But no one has been around. I gathered up so many pictures and mementoes for family. I will try to get them to them.
Mike is at the ranch and I am nervous as can be. He insisted that he was ok to go. He told me when I was in LA that he hated being alone a batching it. But yet he is alone at the ranch and batching it.
Joanne, I think that you should take all the time you need when it comes to decisions on decorating. No rush?
Sandra, are you calling 74f warm? I want to sent all my heat wave your way. What do you call cold?
I so agree with you on the flue shot's. I am so sorry that your Doug went through that nightmare of a coma. You must have been so panicked.
Let us know about the next project.
Leo, what's up with you and the Puma?
Sending much love and hug and saying sorry that you had to read my ramble.
But I will say....more to come. Ha!
