i know all our hearts go out to erika and starr. and that we'll be here for her in whatever way we can. prayers for peace and the healing process.


i slept like a rock last night. i'm not as sore as i thought i'd be, but it's too early to call. rain all week.

i have to finish some housework and prepare a bag to get to serene land aka mother's by midweek or so. just have to deal with what's at hand as i can.

have to make a short trip out for litter and supplies after cleaning. that's my big day as much as i'd love to kick back be fed grapes by cabana boys.

wishing the most loving and lovable folks ever the best day possible. it's a blessing to know each of you.

Good morning Serenity, yesyes, my heart is heavy as well for Erika. I texted with her late last night any know she was distraught over Starr. May she rest in peace.

I'm glad you got a good nites rest. Did I read you're going Mom's later this week for a few days. That should be nice for you to get out of there for awhile. Hope you have a good day today and get all of your stuff done.

Scott is redoing our bathroom floor and ceiling over. The ceiling is done and ready to be painted. The floor needs one more coat of cement to level everything off and then we're putting like a laminate floor in. Also took off the built in hamper that I used for cleaning products and Scott is making a magazine rack out of that and shelving. He's so handy and can't wait to see the finished product. I love what I'm seeing already, no more stuff hanging from the ceiling from prior leaks, no more little pink tiles that were popping up under my feet all over the place. No matter how much I cleaned that bathroom floor, it never looked clean.

I'm praying for Erika today and hoping her and Scott are doing okay. I hope RJ is feeling better with her shingles, praying for Seek and his Dad, and all other members who are going through some very tough times right now. Much love to you all.

Hey, at least you were able to get more done by bagging up, just sorry it was a rough way for it to happen. Please pace yourself when you go on your supply run and anything else you may do today. I'll bet your mini vacay at your moms is looking better & better. Hope you pencil in some relaxation time for yourself today!

Seek, thank you for you wonderful hug, what a great way to start the day. I'm so happy to see you here with us this morning. I'm sorry those flippers of yours are hurting so bad. Any chance of getting in to the Dr soon for a med change or additional meds? I sure hope so. I'm so happy that your finding your sparkle again. Our resident frog without sparkles is like days without sunshine, glad your doing a bit better my friend.

I am praying for a quiet day so that I may get some very long overdue sleep. Guno was crying again last night so hubby is going to try and get a vet appt soon to have him checked out to be on the safe side. He's eating, drinking & doing his "duties" just fine so I'm not overly worried, just concerned as its the first time in eight years he's ever acted like this so we'll see. I am so looking forward to PT late this afternoon. I'm off to try and get some sleep, I'm so beyond needing it.

ME, i'm glad you stayed in touch with erika. what a cabana boy (JK) you got. scott is just a doll to do all that to make that place a home for you two. yes, so many members in need and lifting them up.

lisa, sorry guno was up all night. hope he's ok. now you do need to get some sleep. i will pencil in lots of R&R after this week plus laundry at will in a decent machine. hope you really get to sleep and have some very sweet dreams.

This all takes a fair amount of time for me

I have my intake interview for cardiac rehab in a while today
I also have to go empty my daughters car, they are called, the thing totaled,
She was alright, no injuries.
Now we have to go through all the car buying crap again
There is nothing I hate more than dealing with car sales people

I seem to be easily exhausted this shingles thing is getting to me
I took my last antiviral this morning, the rash is calming down,
The pain however is quite severe at times, cloths or my bed is all it takes to light things up
and get the pain thing cranked up.
I have made a goal of moving back into my bedroom by the end of the month,
Hope I can make it
Tomorrow I see my therapist, first sence my melt down.
I have no idea what to say.....
I hurt, and feel betrayed by this whole thing

I will not spend anymore time on this crap

Prince Frog so glad to hear you're getting some of your sparkle back :). Seems all the pulling and tugging is helping some of us get out of the hole! It sure doesn't make things feel any better does it?

ME glad things are progressing on the home front thanks to Scott's hard work :). Of course we're going to want pictures when it's all done ;). He's welcome to come on over I have plenty to keep him busy with!

Lisa it's the big day finally! I'm excited for you, know that massaging is going to feel good and hopefully loosen up those muscles for you soon :). Don't like you hurting so much. Hope Guno (ha) Gino is fine, wonder if he is hearing something....I have to guess on something!

Erika is weighing on my heart today, just love her to pieces....when she hurts I hurt. Know how important all her babies are to her. If you read this.....it's a wall to scale and you will reach the top with time.

Not sure what I'm doing today, have a list of need to's, but my body is so tired and sore. Take it as it comes I guess. It all isn't going anywhere right?

Hey Mike good luck at your interview today. You need me haggling at the car lot, I thrive at it! ha. Sorry about the shingles, don't wear a shirt if it causes that much pain. Hopefully it clears soon. Glad you're seeing your therapist...say what you've told us! and show her/him what you did. You really need to feel free to open up :)

Have no idea what I am doing today other then studying. We bought a ratcheted clipper for the fruit trees and it is very easy to use but it is wet, rainy and yucky outside. Tomorrow is a dental appointment as the next implant is ready to go.......yikes!

Dinner??? I do know dessert will be the 1 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour...mix and add any fruit on top. Bake 350* for 30-45 minutes.......really just check. Perhaps fish for dinner with mashed tators.....

moonie, just studying sounds like a great day especially with a dental appt tomorrow. dang, your desserts sound sooo good.

i rarely eat sweets and yesterday i really wanted something. i pulled out a tin of shortbread from my sis from christmas. what was in there? scented soaps! can i say how disappointed i was?! i love the soaps, but...

i've managed to vacuum and that totally earned me a visit to the heating pad and i was out like a light. if they want to come visit and cite me, g'head.
i've met two of the nicest people on free cycle and CL in the past days - culling and more culling. really, really nice, so i know they're out there!

i have to go out for cat littler, smokes and fruit and that's it for the day. no mas. then it's a me day if i'm this tired.

i'm really aching for erika. she's a darling darling and i hate that her heart is aching with loss. <3 e.
