..In the middle of the night..while neither of us could sleep..
Finally asked me about her surgery.
I told her it wasn't a simple stent procedure..
But.. when she asked what would they do if they couldn't do it..
I only said they'd try something else.
I'm leaving it up to the Dr.s when to tell her that means another craniotomy.
..though, I won't lie to her if she asks directly.

She's finally admitting to fear, too..
Extremely unusual for her.

I wish I believed in God.

I believe in God Jan so I'll keep you both in my prayers. I know at times like this, it's hard to believe in anything, but I will pray that God is with Jaimie holding her hand through this procedure and guiding the doctor's hands to do the right thing. I pray that he gives you some peace and pain relief as well, but know all you really want is Jaimie to be well again. I love you honey and will keep you all in my prayers.

JC, I too believe and will add extra prayers for you both. I know many don't believe and are spiritual. I hope they give you a new day sooner rather than later. It would be great if when the call with the new date if they would at least tell you when surgery will be and you can cover the details at the appt. Sending up prayers for healing, comfort and especially peace of mind, body and spirit. (((HUGS)))

I pray that the craniotomy is not necessary. I also pray that God grants you the strength to continue to care for Jamie and your gs. I feel so sad just sitting here and reading your post. You are always in my prayers Jan.

JC it's hard to believe in much when times are hard and history repeats itself with even more tough times. But hey I never could have carried myself through it all alone. Right now you and Jaimie are surrounded by incredible strength and support to get you through yet another hurdle and you will. Belief doesn't have to be yours....ours will carry you through.
