Today I am feeling much better after fighting headaches for 3 days in a row. Finally I was able to get enough sleep.
Yesterday was a good day except for the headache. I still did my volunteer office work at the church. I so love helping out the pastors. Usually I just fold the bulletins and go through the mail and separate it, or shred some too. Yesterday I did some computer work updating the directory.
Today will be a busy day, but I am up early so thought I would talk to everyone here. Around 7:30 or so we will get picked up for grocery shopping. One of the nice ladies from church takes us. Then later this afternoon I will attend a baby shower. I made a 28" teddy bear. The same lady that picks me up for groceries will pick me up to go to the shower.
We no longer have a car and I figure that is a good thing since Ed has his Parkinson's and I have my mini strokes, it is probably not safe for either of us to be driving.

wow, it does sound like you have a busy day ahead of you - in a very nice way. i'm glad that you've gotten relief to some degree and got satisfaction from your volunteer work. i'd love to see that teddy bear you made.

i caught up on some sleep, too. i was awake at 2 am yesterday and cleaning. i had to make shortcuts, of course, but it still wore me out. the maintenance guy said he'd install my euro style shower head, so that was a bonus. i hope nothing was worth citing. today is just rest up and catch up with working friends. of course, there's plenty else to do, but i need a day off.

meds are on board and im ready to take it easy today. hubby is going to pick up the remaining sheets of our new tin roofing materials. its going to stick out 4 feet from the back of the silverado with a red flag attached so im going to stay home while he goes and does that.
partly cloudy today with rain tomorrow. quiet day in for me. i hope you all have a nice day.

Hi Erika, I hope those meds ease your pain so you can relax and enjoy your day. Are y'all getting a new roof? I do like metal roofs where you can hear the rain hitting it!
I'm still in this flare, but I will be alright. I have such a sweet hubby helping me out...he's cooking us a late breakfast right now....pancakes and bacon. We are supposed to have some severe thunderstorms today. They aren't ruling out large hail and tornadoes. Wow, I have been keeping up with this mystery of the missing Malaysian plane with 239 souls on board. This is the 8th day with no sign of it anywhere! Now they say satellite images and investigation suggests the plane continued to fly 7 hours after contact with ground control. Our FAA, NTSB and even NASA are helping with the search and the confirm it has to be foul play involved. My heart goes out to the families of the passengers.

Judi you will be alright, but damn it sure would be nice if you felt freaking great! They think maybe the plane has been spotted on radar, a big hope and prayers. I saw that 13 countries are involved now that's world power I like to hear about!
I jumped into the shower and put my beans on soak. It's a warm sunshiney day here! Not sure what I'm going to do with it besides open the windows and air the house out, but loving that. Daisy Mae is loving her time in the sun, I'm just feeling very paranoid about her out there after what happened to Pink. Gritting my teeth :(

I just typed an individual reply to everyone here this morning and poof, the damn thing disappeared! So I'm not doing that again right now because I'm aggravated with this computer right now.
But I'm glad to see everyone, I hope everyone has a low pain day. My nurse just left so that's all for me today.
The goid news is Miriam and Michael are home. They think it's one of his meds. They'll watch him under close eyes.

DBL, well the dead has arisen! :). That makes 2 of us. I'm kinda dragging today. I better wake up cuz my butt's gonna be on that treadmill within the hour. Long enough for meds to kick in and my coffee to be drank! I know, I know. I'll be careful and not overdo. And I hope my butt doesn't end up ON the treadmill, lol.

Good mornin' Judi! Flares are no fun. I hope this one is mild. But yes, good men are hard to find. Glad you have one. I'm as baffled about that flight as you are. I'm not listening to the news about it because there's just too much speculation and rumor involved. I hope there's no foul play too!. I'm taking it easy today. 79 degrees today and 53 tomorrow. Sheesh, WTH? Anyway, pain is tolerable today. I think I had an arthritis AND fibro flare yesterday. It was rough going. I'm glad I've got a man like Judi's. God bless him. I'm off now to the patio to drink my coffee and then it's a go for the walk. I'll let ya know how it goes!

One of my neighbors had left over baby stuff from when she had a little baby 2 1/2 years ago, so she gave me about $50 worth of baby onesies and gowns. The baby for today's shower gets 2 of the onesies with giraffes on them.
