I've been yucky all day so haven't done a thing. The neighbors invited me over to their party and it would be nice to actually go be around people, maybe I'll get to feeling better.
So what has everyone been up to today?
things that make ya go Hmmmmmmn
high pain, nothing new...im sitting with my feet up now had a ham pepperjack cheese onion cucumber cheddar cheese tomato american cheese sandwich on a raisin english muffin. yummm im going to soak in a few maybe after my hockey game. you all have a wonderful night ok
toni, i guess the week caught up with you. call in the cabana boys. how nice of your neighbors to invite you over. i hope they understand that sometimes the energy it takes to socialize just isn't there or do a pop in and sneak home . hope you can have an easy night.
erika, yippee on being home. hope you have a good soak. your sandwich sound good. i like putting the different flavors together. hope you have a very peaceful night after the good hocky game.
after talking to my bestie in nyc (she's like my little soul sister) for only 4 hours, i had a really good nap until i began talking in my sleep again. i slept through the belmont stakes which doesn't make me happy - the last race in the triple crown. a real catch up on rest day. i truly need that. i'll throw something together for dinner and try to make through the TCM movie. boy, do i miss having energy.
wishing all in FC a very pleasant and peaceful night and sweet hugs.
Toni-Go mingle, Be around people and then go home and collapse!
Erika-The Cabana Boys told me you are one party hardy gal!! They will do whatever you want! Enjoy the game.
Today I went through paper work, organized and then went to home depot for another tomato plant. Dinner was simple with roasted corn on the cob, Nathan's hot dogs, salad and watermelon...summer has arrived!
Tomorrow is unplanned.
Dreams of lounging beside a waterfall gently spraying out bodies while sipping out of coconuts filled with rum...............
wishing for cool summer breezes to kiss your necks to cool you down
erika, i found it on the internet and it was fabulous. a triple crown winner for the first time in 30+ years. such a beautiful horse and great back story. used to go to belmont in ny and it was special. yes, we certainly do need a party. our menfolk are mia and i hope they do show up for it. great imagery, too. hope you have a wonderful, restful night back at home.
good night. xoxo
Grammagus, I was down south for a month back when. I lost 2 watches to humidity. I had never perspired on my face OR arms and hands before but I did there. Glad the countdown has started for you to come home!
Dang it Toni. You've been pretty busy this past week. You just rest as much as you need to! If you go to the neighbor's party I hope you have fun. I know it would be more lively with you there!
Erika, sounds like a unique sandwich you got there. Kick up your feet and enjoy the rest of your evening. Have you been clicking the heels on your ruby slippers and saying "there's no place like home, there's no place like home....", LOL!
Serenity, glad you got to visit with your friend on the phone (for 4 hours?). Sorry you didn't get restful sleep during your nap. Hopefully tonight will go better. Hugs
Joanne, you put such good spreads out for dinner. I wonder if Mario knows how lucky he is? Relax and give your body time to rejuvenate before you start runnin' again!
Today I basically did nothing. I've got to stop the Crestor again. I think my pain has gotten to an almost unmanageable level due to it. Dang it. It really keeps my cholesterol. Looks like I'm back to rabbit food again. Pretty lazy to rely on a pill instead of just watching my diet. I'm on my own with it now. Stay tuned. I'll let you know if it works.
I hope everyone has a peaceful night's rest.
Hugs,
Dianna
Love & God bless
Lisa
The south is famous for it's humidity. I never grow used to it. Just live with it.
Toni I hope you have been comfortable at home and rested after the week you have had wrangling tree limbs.
At least you are safe from a dead tree falling on your home. Nice of neighbors to invite you.
Erika glad you made it home. That sandwich sounds a winner. I would call it an Erika special. Enjoy your Hocky and then I hope
Serenity seems like you have a standing Saturday chat with your friend. Nice to do that. Glad you were able to pick up the Belmont on the Internet,
Joanne you are well ahead of us on vegetables and fruit. Ours are not near ready for harvest but it does sound delicious. We are just reaching Peach season.
Dianna there is a company that makes organic pasta from spinach flour with Jerusalem artichoke inulin added.. I made my chicken noodle soup all winter with the fettuccine noodles from that brand. My cholesterol numbers dropped dramatically. I will get the brand name. They make the entire line. So I am sure you could incorporate some summer pasta salads in your diet with lots of fresh vegetables added. Just google the pasta as I described it. You will see it's benefits.
I am going backwards in sleep and must move forwards, we start daycare for oldest son's kiddos on Monday. No more sleeping in. Bedtime for me needs to be 10pm. My last late night. I hope I make it through the summer.
good morning And good night
