i haven't been around to much ..but that is going to Chang ......how is everyone doing .....we might get thunder storms today ...we realy need the rain ....the water table is dowen ..here ...we have to watch how much water we use ...we have a well ..not on city water ........it looks nice out right now ....and it is supost be very hot this weak ....I like it a little collet ......can't take to much heat .........had a close encounter with a bear ..last weakend ...I was sitting with a friend talking ..and just had to look behing me and there was a big black bear behing us ..about 8 feet away comming our way ....he was in very good shape his coat was shines ..we looked eachother in the eyes ...and I told my friend the bear was behind us ...and we walked slowly ....away and she yelled bear ..bear ..and the men cam with bear bangers and scared him away ............I wasent even scared .......take care ...God bless
Musk, my hats off to you, I would have needed several changes of new undies LOL! I hope you get the rain that you so desperetely need. I too can't handle it when it's really hot. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing 4th of July!
Its been an absolutely picture perfect weekend here. Our temps have been in the upper 70's with very little humidity. We didn't get to camp this weekend & once again it was all my fault. Between the pain and this exhaustion thing I couldn't do it. I felt beyond bad as hubby went to so much trouble to make everything perfect. The odds of us getting another picture perfect San diego type weather here in MN & in July are slim to none. I walked out to where he had set up the camper with my Walker wowza did that do a number on my back. However I walked out there this morning, without a walker or my cane!!! That's the longest I've walked without holding onto anything in I can't even remember how long. I'd say it was close to a 1/4 mile round trip. Come hell or high water I will camp with him next weekend!
Today is the anniversary of his dad's passing so I'm going to do what I can to lift his spirit, maybe go to the DQ and go for a drive or get a bonfire going early and roast some hotdogs & of course marshmellows
Lisa, believe me, I solo understand. My husband has a hunting camp in swamp. I so want to go With him. But...can't do short walks....much less... getting in and out the boat....not easy. And, 30 min boat ride from dock to camp....
But, roasting hotdogs....sounds GOOD!
Lisa sorry you didn't making it camping, but yay on the walk. Maybe you can get to the camper after all....port a potties can be blessings in disguise hehe. I bet hubby would love the hotdogs and marshmallows.
Mary shame you can't go to the swamp camp, maybe we need a camping party around here! Eat us some gator and swamp rats ha!
