I chose Free Friday because I am hoping and praying that everyone have a day free from pain.
My birthday is April 13th. This is a response to yesterdays post asking about birthdays.
I have a funny for everyone this morning. While I was babysitting yesterday, I let some gas. Elora said. "You farted, you need a diaper." That is because after she farts she gets the poop that follows. I laughed so hard. We are trying to get her potty trained. She is purposely being defiant and still pottying in pull ups.
My hands are sore this morning and I have so much to do to get organized for my trip.
I saw these beautiful loungers in Walgreens the other day. When I got paid for babysitting it was enough to buy one. We were going out to eat and Walgreens is just across the street. I found the one I wanted. I tis a beautiful light blue and white and it has some white braiding applique around the neckline. Only $14.99. Ed didn't think it would fit, so I tried it on over my clothes. Lots of room. When we got to the cash register he told me to put it on the charge so I would have a bit more spending money for the trip.
I am feeling much better but I still have that cough that seems to never go away. I am hoping for it to go away once I get in a different climate. I am getting so excited.

what a cute little girl you babysit. so interesting to hear how children think. nice score on the lounger and then a surprise from Ed, too! sorry about that cough that drags on. i hope your hands ease up on you, so you can keep getting ready for your big trip!
i feel like a new person today after 7 hours of sleep and regular dreams. i want to get out early and do some shopping before it gets too crazy - hopefully. we're supposed to have a high of 82, so that's another good reason to get out early.
other than being a little stiff i'm feeling pretty good. i'll play it by ear when i get back b/c i have a lot of stops. i'll take my cart and try to take it easy on my back.

Grammagus, lol out of the mouth of babes too cute! Congrats on the lounger and Ed having you keep your cash. I'm sorry your hands are hurting you. I hope they start to feel better soon along with that cough of yours. Won't be long and you'll be on your way how exciting.
Serenity, I'm so glad you had a great nights sleep along with regular dreams. Take it easy on your errands today. I hope your able to come home and relax.
I have PT today and am really looking forward to that massage as pain is really high. I managed to get bills paid this morning, need to throw a small load of laundry in & take a shower. I'm hoping to catch a couple hrs sleep before I need to start getting ready. Other than that not much going on.
I hope all have a free day or at the very least a relaxing & stress free one.

Grammagus I'm so glad you're getting excited about your trip. That is funny about the gas. The things kids come out with. I found it always easier to train little boys.I don't know why, but gigirls always seem to take a little longer. The lounger sounds very pretty Grammagus. Walgreens has some cute things. I've bought cute sandals there before. I'm getting excited about your trip so I can just imagine how you are feeling. Have a nice day.

Lisa, I'm glad physical therapy is helping your pain. I'm hoping you are getting some sleep right now. Hoping that the therapy can alleviate some of your pain permanently. Have a great dsy honey.
I slept well last night myself. I woke up at 6:30 & went back to sleep till 9:00. I think I'm getting sick, but not sure. It could be just allergies, but I've been very tired lately. I didn't get to the laundry yesterday, so will be doing that today.
I hope everyone has a great day with low pain and low stress.

nice to hear you slept well Mary Ellen. i hope you are not getting sick. hubbys been feeling fatiqued with sore throat for a few days now. its about that time for Springtime colds to float around. have you ever tried Zicam? some people swear by it. pace yourself doing that laundry, ok.
i opened my eyes and Bam! pain struck me like lightening. i stumbled out of bed to my tincture. need to get on top of it fast. its 36 degrees right now with loads of sun. hubby has an appointment at 1pm with his client he's hosting and managing the website for. today, the couch is my friend. i hope you all have a nice day with minimal pain and very little stress.
wow, ME, that's pretty unusual for you to sleep so long. i hope it's just allergies. maybe get checked out b/c there have been so many bugs this winter. please stay well! yay, for dianna. i hope jack comes back feeling much better.

i had to cut errands in half and it was still close to too much. can go back out today or early tomorrow or whenever...3 buses and pulling that cart up the stairs of the bus is pretty hard. wish chivalry still existed!
I'm definitely getting a head cold. I'm so stuffed up, which I can't stand it when I can't breathe Nose drops for me today and yes I know they're addictive, but I need to breathe freely first and foremost.

Serenity-A good night sleep really makes all the difference. Have fun beating the heat.
Ericka=I hate for you to wake with so much pain. Keeping low should help.
ME-I hope the sleep was just a catch up and not getting sick or allergies.
Lisa-paying bills early, yeah! Pt should help you today.
Lowering my prednisone 1 mg. again has increased pain and decreased mobility. It will level out in a few weeks to a new norm. Another weird dream but this time the dream started over with 3 endings. Very odd. Sneezing while typing-allergies.
The soft palate at the top of my mouth feels like it has been rubbed raw-no clue. Finishing the master bedroom change over-from winter to spring. Bedding and clothing.

Erika, I'm so sorry you woke to so much pain. I'm happy your tincture seems to work so well, I could use some myself. I wish it were legal for pai here. I hope as the day goes on your pain diminishes considerably and your able to just kick your feet up & rest.
Serenity, sorry you had to cut your errands short, but better safe than sorry. Chivelry seems to have gone by the wayside hasn't it, at least enough of the time. I hope your relaxing on the couch with your heating pad & Miss Penny.
I managed to get a load of laundry in, but sleep eluded me this morning pain is too high. That's ok, hopefully Tammy (my pt) will massage it right out of me. It's a beautiful day out, it's around 45 and bright blue sky's....my kinda weather!

Just a fly-by from Down Under, this evening,.... Sigh,.. It's almost 3am, and a now lurching up 4 nights without any sleep, just in an horror flare n constant high pain,... Can't sit, lay down , get comfy anywhere, without issues,.... Awww , I, don't like it anymore... .. Oooooh so bruised and sore from Monday nights fall n smash... Silly Frog.."
Having a real bad reaction to the Flu Vaccine, n has smashed me,... Never has that happened before...
Questions up,..... Has , anyone else ever had any issues after their, Flu season vaccination?

Darn sorry to hear the pain monster is rearing its ugly head at you EZ! Speaking of EZ's your recipe last night sounded very yummy :) It's been ages since I've actually had a drink but that temps me ;)
Oh gosh ME of all things a cold! That really sucks, wish I could zap it away from you! Hey there are worse things to get addicted to than nose drops hehe.
Moonie take it easy on yourself today....pace yourself. Something comes to mind with that rawness......dry mouth.......get plenty of liquids in you and take biotin or chew a little gum before bedtime :)
Thunder and lightening storms here all night equals another night up. I'd fall asleep only to be woken up by another round of them. Daisy Mae at one point had it and came shaking to Mama, so we gave up and just watched some tv. Still in the danger zone, but the temp has already dropped so I'm not expecting anything to come out of it. Just taking it easy as possible today!
Seek hope the chocolate bunnies has began for you! LOL

I wish I lived near you so I could make you some chicken soup. I didn't know you took a fall. Did you mentioned it before now. I'm praying that you're alright and that you can get some rest.
There is no need to apologize for feeling lousy and saying so. That's what we're here for so you can let us raise you up during the bad times. God please lay your healing hands on Steve and heal hid pain dear lord. He has been suffering for awhile now and needs a break. Please remove the inflammation that Steve has been havind with this flare up. Amen.
