Wow sounds like you have been very busy. I'm glad you are getting a little of your stuff sold. I'm sure the money helps. I'm so sorry to hear that Ed fell and got hurt. Please be careful honey. Trying to break his fall and you could have been hurt badly yourself. Hopefully, you both can rest a bit today as it sounds like you did quite a bit yesterday.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo
Mary Ellen

Grammagus, God sure did bless you with the talent of crocheting your animals etc are so wonderful. I'm so thankful that you and Ed were not seriously hurt when Ed fell. How nice of your friend to let you use her car and for her to drive you around for the final errands and out to eat! I hope you have a wonderful day and weekend coupled with diminished pain.
Mary Ellen, soooo how did the visit go? It must have been so wonderful and hard to see him at the same time. Only a few days left until he's home yippee! I hope your able to just relax and maybe get in a nap or two
Seek, how has your pain been doing? Has the tweaks in your meds helped? I sure hope so. I hope you get a good nights sleep with dreams of soft Lilly pads to hop on.
Another boring day here which isn't a bad thing. It will be a day of ice and sleep. I'm hoping my pain will be down enough tomorrow so hubby and I can go to some open houses on a lake. It's a pipe dream for now but it's fun to go and look.
Wishing all a fantabulous day with low pain/stress and all that makes you happy.
Love & Hugs
Lisa
This week sure has flown by. No complaints here! I am on call this weekend but it's still a couple days out of the office and can stay in my pj's all day if I want. :)
I am off on Monday as well. We are having some bathroom renovations (woohoo) and have someone coming to replace the tub and shower. I can't wait, we've been wanting to do this since moving in 10 years ago.
I'm frustrated with my legs and no help from the doctor. I live in one of the leading cities in the country for doctors and can't get an appointment with the specialist until December. Unbelievable. I see my rheumy in September and hoping she'll be more help. The pain in my legs is out of control. Thankfully the weakness is better, not 100% but better.
It's nice to see you this morning Grammagus. Sorry to hear about Ed's fall but glad you are both ok. It sounds like you've been busy, as usual. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Mary Ellen, I'm hoping your visit with Scott was all you hoped for. Only a couple more days!
Wishing you sweet dreams and sleep well Seek. Fingers and toes crossed that the med changes are helping you.
Lisa, hope you sleep well too. How nice it would be a to have a house on the lake. Hoping you can at least go look. All of the houses on the lake are completely not affordable here, unless you want a real fixer upper. I'd love to have a place overlooking the ocean. When I win the lottery...
Have a great day everyone. I've been trying to send this since I got in to the office at 7:30 this morning. Constant interruptions today already.
Love and hugs, Vicky
grammagus, wow, what a busy day and how nice of your friend to help with her car. sorry about the fall. i hope you both feel better. good luck with all the crocheting. it's great to so you again.
ME, any update on your visit?
seek, hope you have a fab night!
lisa, ice and sleep sound just right. hope you and seek both catch some good zzzzs. i love looking at open houses, so hope you're up to that.
my sleep was messed up last night after being a benadryl zombie yesterday. it's already rained here, so hopefully that's done for the day. once i figure out which way is up i'll see what i can manage. no clue at this point.
Serenity, I'm sorry you didn't sleep well last night. Are you able to take Claritin? I'm lucky in that the benadryl doesn't make me tired. I hope you have a wonderful relaxing day and your pain stays below tolerable. What ever you end up doing I hope you enjoy yourself.
Love & Hugs
Lisa
lisa, i tried claritin years ago and it didn't help, but i think i will try it again. this place really is allergy central. thanks for reminding me.
Grammagus, when someone is falling it is a natural instinct to try and catch them. In the hospital, my daughter who is in her 30s and double my weight, passed out as I was trying to help her to the bathroom. I caught her and cradled her head so she did not hit the porcelain throne. She landed on me and I could not move her, so I pulled the emergency string. The nurses came and started jumping all over my case for trying to catch her. Yes I got hurt, but she could have been seriously injured with a head injury. It is a judgement call and you probably save your hubby from more damage. Praying that you both recoup well. Selling crochet animals sounds like fun.
Mary Ellen- If you were able to see Scott, it must have been quit an emotional time. I hope it all worked out well. Do you have the Yellow Ribbon tied around the trees for his homecoming. :) Praying for strength and peace for you both.
Seek- always love to see my favorite Frog Prince. Hope you are doing better, glad that you are on the DS more often. Sending lots of positive energy for your Sparkle machine. I always keep a couple of your Sparkles with me to get me through. Hope you are having a peaceful sleep.
Lisa- praying the ice does the trick and knocks that pain down quickly. Hope you find your dream hope. Sounds like a great goal.
Vicky- so nice that you can finally get your bathroom redone. Enjoy the long weekend. Hoping you can just Veg out and enjoy.
Serenity- Sorry about the allergies. If Claritan did not work, maybe try a different one. What works for one person does not always work for the next.
Min63- hope you have a low pain, peaceful weekend.
I am just overwhelmed with doctors, procedures, tests, and PT (aka: Pain and Torture). When I was told that I needed to put together a strong medical team, I really did not know how many specialist that would involve. I love the medical clinic that I have found. It is kinda like the Mayo Clinic. I am slowly trying to get all of my specialist from this clinic so they all have the treatments at their finger tips. If one doctor orders a test, all of the doctors can review it on their system. It is a wonderful group. I am there 2 to 3 times a week right now. My life seems to consist of medical appointments and ice packs. Lots of fun, not.
Wishing all a very low pain weekend with many positive moments.
Hugs-RJ
ME-Happiness is you and Scott visiting.
Seek -I am so thrilled to be hosting one of your brethren to fight the horrendous fires on the west coast of the US. A young Australian fire fighter will be staying with us. Many Australian and New Zealand fire fighters are heading our way.
Lisa-Have fun going to the open houses on the lake. So much fun!
Vicky-So sorry about your continue leg pain. Have you gone to the ER? I know we don't like to do that but this is ridiculous for your pain and no appointment for awhile.
Serenity-Hate that benedryl fog and hope today goes better and findng an apartment.
My labs were done and then my Rare Disease Doc and Rheumy. The plan is still I can control the prednisone. We have decided Fosamax even though I do not have osteoporosis. It is the prednisone usage that can cause demineralization. Then met GD and DIL to hang out due to the heartbroken GD not getting the baby. Then the last summer concert. I am on the run a lot but the alternative is ending up like my Dad. Completely deformed body from his RA and inactivity which is what he had been told was the way to treat the pain and RA.......wrong. Being active and damn the pain will keep me functioning. When I am with other RA/PMR my age we are a different bunch then our parents.
RJ-sorry didn't see you...my docs are all under the same umbrella so when one orders a test it is immediately on the portal. All of my info is there and being typed in as we speak. I love that there is no explanations needed.
Tonight meeting GD on the island to look at condo's for her/hubby for future children.
Love, Hugs and Low Pain,
Joanne

Marion I read yesterday was yours and hubby's anniversary! Glad you had a good one in spite of him having to spend it in bed....true love
Grammagus good to see you. You have been busy! Hope you and Ed recover from that fall quickly.....rest up those muscles.
ME so glad you and Scott had your time together :). Just a few more days to go!
Seek hope you're getting some happy zzz's and dreams of fishing, beer, mates and cars......feeling downright fine while you're at it!
Lisa hopes up you're feeling well tomorrow and get to go house seeing.......how fun is that ;). I can just picture you placing your things in each one!
I'll woohoo with you Vicky!! No work is cause for celebration around here for our struggling workers! Nice you get your reno's :). Wish those legs would let up on you errrrrrr.
Serenity sounds like you're still a little zombified.....hope you can find a little nap today. Rest sounds like all you need to do today :).
Morning Minnie hope things have calmed down today and your day is a brighter one :)
RJ always love seeing you :). I sure can understand why you are overwhelmed, not only do you have a lot on your team, but you've worked hard on your issues for the past year....you have to be exhausted and 100 other things! Right here dangling the banana ;)
I am so planning a day of rest and laying around in my bed and just catching up on some shows. Going to eat sandwiches....no cooking. Brandi was off towards home at 5:15 this morning and I don't envy her the ride and will feel better when I know she's made it safely in a day or two.
A low pain.....pleasant day to all......love and hugs from yours truly :)
Toni
Moonie I just started Fosamax knock on wood so far no side effects....hope the same for you. Agree about the RA, my mom stays on the move or? Aw know you're going to miss those concerts! i'm going to miss them for you!
Erika good to know you were sleeping so hard LOL! So good to have you back....scooping ice cream for you...don't care what time it is!
i couldn't help but laugh in a sad way at PT. it's great that you found a place like that where things can be coordinated. i hope you can get them all on the same page. that sounds like a big job. years ago i typed a long document of all my drs, meds tried and results and test....and would just take that to each new dr...
hope this team with get some answers and relief for you.
hugs!
