David! So good to hear from you :). Think that means you've been out of work since January and sorry to hear it.....I think. No one should have to work when they have intolerable pain levels.

Come around more often and get the support from others that understand.

How did the new pain med work out for you? How long does the SCS last? Of all the talk with you, Mike and Barb getting one (and others) I've never heard of anyone in the long term and how they are benefitting.

My SCS is instrumental in my pain relief plan. The oxymorphone takes the edge off and of course just helps. I've had the stimulator for over 5 years and I never turn it off. My pain management doctors are looking into medical massage.

Glad it all helps, though I'm sure you're still in pain. Thanks for answering my question, I never knew if the SCS wore out or became ineffective with time and wow 5 years......time flies! No wonder you've been missed

I have been told that the generator for the SCS will have to be changed. Life expectancy of 8 to 10 years.
