I don't know how to talk about everything that has happened

I feel like if I talk about the struggles
I'm somehow ..... making small
all that we have to be grateful for

anyone familiar with severe strokes has an idea of Jaimies battles
to date and to come

any parent who's waited to know if their child will survive
.. if they will still be themselves if they do
knows

and.. pain.. of course.. doesn't recognize a bad time to be horrid

I got through stopping fentanyl
high blood pressure and extreme restlkess legs being the worst of it
my new regime had carried me through yesterday
some pretty intense pain..including chest to back to jaw
drove me from the hospital this a.M
I don't let the staff their see me weak
jaimie wants to come home with me until she's well enough to care for herself and Eli ( her son)
I don't want anyone saying I'm unable to care for them

though I kinda am
but.. we'll beg borrow bribe help

not sure what this ramble is about

I'm semi keeping up quietly here

We often worry about how to say things, when all we really need to do is try & communicate the best we can. Believe me, I know. I cant spell & my dyslexia gets the better of me sometimes & well, then there's the whole brain fog thing! Oi!

But, I've pretty much always understood what you were trying to write, even with the lovely type-o's, now & then. :)

I often cant find the right words...

Just be yourself & type it, write it or say it.
Get it out there.

If I lived near you, I'd do what I could too. Even with this old broken down body of mine.

Help will arrive, somehow, some way, you'll both get through this.

I am so sorry. It seems know matter how bad we as moms feel or things we can no longer do,others think we can because we are super moms. Moms and wives should do it all. Sometimes you just have to say NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I know it's hard but take care of yourself . I know you can't take care od your daughter, maybe they can send I. A care sitter to help out.

jc, you don't have to keep up the strong front here, i hope you know. praying for the strength of the village to help you be there for her with so much pain going on in your life and all you're going through . i can only imagine the emotional strength this is taking from you.
i agree with hiero if i were close, i'd be there in a ny second with whatever you need.
although i'll be out of touch monday, i'll be back on asap.

correcting my laptops new quirks is wearing me down. but please know we love and are with you.

im here for you JC and just want you to know i care and am thinking of you both. my girlfriend had a stroke so i can understand the kind of rehab it can take to get ones strength back. it sounds like your daughter has a strong will and is already defying Drs prognosis. if theres anything i can do to help ease this stressful time please let me know ok.

You'll do what you have to because you're a mom and that's what you do and when you need support we're here for you! You'll be fine, in a lot of pain, but fine, we got your back honey!

just had a little ..panic ;-)

my Mom and Sis have been back here for a bit ( you may recall they had just left)
anyway
just getting a little anxuious at the thought of them being gone
hell that6's not even happening yet
so
I'm just needing to stay in the moment

Hey you....it is about time to come to us and spill. Of course you will do it all. You have and in middle of saying see ya later f....patch. You are amazing. Jaimie is here and fighting and she will fight. There will be ups and downs and all arounds.

I have been on the "almost loosing" side. What I will say is there was an incredible high when I knew he would
live and for a very long time little and even what used to seem big things in life didn't seem that way. My experience was different, his healing was a different healing and I didn't have chronic pain. I got your back though my dear friend.

Someone I know told me don't ever apologize or make small our feelings..........hmmmmm. Wonder who that was.

jc, I hope your doctor writes an order to have Home Health once or twice a week (more would be better at this stage). I know what debilitating pain you endure but I know your daughter will be fine in your hands. If I were in your shoes, even as an RN, I'm not sure what I would do. Saying prayers of healing again for your Jaimie and you. Love you,

JC one doesn't over shadow the other. Maybe you just need an outlet to say how you're feeling and it can be all jumbled up, it doesn't matter how it comes out.....it's your moment and time for it.

I personally will poke the person in the eye that says you can't take care of her! you Have been there through it all and wow while withdrawing from freaking fentanyl and with that pain girl friend you have been strong as hell.

Do what Dianna said and apply for that help. Also don't be afraid to call on friends and family, even a couple of hours is going to make a huge difference.

JC, I'm so glad you came and shared all that's going on and how your feeling. To have done what you already have and in the amount of pain you have is damn near a miracle in itself. Your one tough cookie, but that doesn't mean you need to emotionally go through this alone, that's what we're all here for, we've got your back.

As far as taking care of Jamie you'll do just fine, but as others have said I would strongly urge you to have the hospital line up home health care. They'll also send out physical & occupational therapists to work with her. I hope this gets lined up as its during their visits that you can go and just be for awhile and recharge your batteries. Keeping you both tucked tightly in my prayers.

And if anyone thinks different they haven't got their eyes in their head right.

I can't imagine how scary this has been for you and your family.

You have been through a lot lately and hope that you have some time each day to stop, self check, rest and reboot.
