The children went down in this order in the book:

1. Augustus Gloop (chocolate river)
2. Viole Beauregarde (blueberry gum)
3. Veruca Salt (rotten egg)
4. Mike Teavee (the miniaturizer room)

Same order in the 1971 film but no idea on the 2005 one, it looked creepy so I quit watching.

Not that I love that movie, LOL!

So second down would be Violet-the-gum-chewer.
