I had one wicked nasty geography teacher. I know the states in order of admission, their capitals, and oh yeah, I can draw the US map for you, including pointing out on a glove the territories etc. lf Guam, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa.... because that's the kind of teacher I had back in the day.
We spent so much time on US geogrphay we never did get to the rest of the world....
