I bought the "Color Purple" when videos first came out. I loved that movie so much, I paid 90 bucks for it in '87 prior to moving to Germany for the next 5 1/2 years. ALWAYS good for a cry.

Old Yeller is another one.

Terms or Endearment brought tears first time and always will not so much for daughter dying or mother loosing daughter. It was the little boys, the daughter's son's. reminded me of my sons at that age and that put me in the main character's place. The tears still roll when I watch that movie.
