The Circle Community Group
The Circle is a Chronic Pain Support room known to it's members for their faithful, generous and outstanding support. Throw in a splash of humor to help you get through your days. New members welcome.
I'm 61 (turning 62 next month) and have struggled with multiple chronic illnesses over the past 7 years -- two bouts of cancer and treatments, two strokes, a heart stent and blockages, diabetes, a brain tumor (benign menengioma that was treated at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital), severe depression, anxiety, sleep apnea, Parkinson's disease, and 11 major surgeries.
Thanks be to God I am doing well (with an occasional hiccup)! I got off five major drugs this past year (Clonipine, Topamax, Abilify, Neurotonin, and Gabapentin) and am sooooo much better. Now I'm down to drugs for my heart and high cholesterol, oh and for the Parkinsons'
I am very happily married to a wonderful, supportive man; have 4 grown children, 2 step children, and 5 grandchildren. God has been good to me.

I just turned 66 on the 13th. I crochet, bake sugar free desserts, and I ride a bicycle as often as I can. I attend church every week and I enjoy riding my bike the mile to the church on Fridays to help with the office work and relieve the pastors from doing some of the mundane stuff.
I have multiple medical problems and take care of a husband who suffers form Parkinson's. My husband is my biggest supporter and I am his biggest supporter. We were meant for each other.
Again, welcome, Annie. I hope to see you back soon.

I know I welcomed you on an earlier post, but didn't want to pass by this official introduction. I'm Mary Ellen and have numerous pain isdues coming mostly from my back and neck right now. Unfortunately also have skin cancer, but thankfully it's been able to be cut out.
You'll find a great bunch here who are very supportive and who still like to have a few laughs. So again, welcome to our group. Looking forward to getting to know you in the near future.
